He showed up on time and did a great job. Gave good suggestions on isolating fixtures as a look-ahead for future work. Cared about the neatness of all the sweated joints and the spacing/look of new piping. Very conscientious. Cleaned-up after himself. Happy.

My experience with them has been very good. Some companies have a regular program like before winter, they come and change filters or do some of those things but this company doesn't have any such program. They come fore service calls when you call them and otherwise they don't. I have not had any need for them to come to my house. Their prices were reasonable- I did shop around to see what other people would charge me and they were pretty good.

Chip was the service provider and knew what he was doing. No muss no fuss just excellent service with a smile. Hagen is now my Plumbing and Heating agent. Contacted them today to come out for non emergency work next week.

My furnace was not working and it was going to get down to the teens the following week. I called Hand H and they came directly and made the repairs. If I remember correctly they charge $60 or $65.00 for the call and $45.00 an hour after plus parts. The installer broke a replacement bring it downstairs and had to go to his truck to get another. They are very fragile and I am glad I did not try to do myself as I would have to eat my mistake and would only be guessing what the problem was anyway. I will call them to pre-check my air this coming summer.

Hagen was quick to arrive with a back hoe. They dug where the original threaded line had separated from the house line. They made a permanent repair. Also filled in the dirt they had removed. It had worked fine since then. House was 24 years old at that time.

The manager, Bob, is abrasive, totally inept and has even lied about several matters! We are only doing business with them now because our appliances are under warranty. We will be writing a letter to the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General.
* New AC did not start up, does not cool the house properly and leaks.
* New furnace is under-capacitized, does not properly heat the house and now requires boosters. They did not balance our dampers and the house is freezing in several areas, so bad that we've had to use supplementary electric heaters. Humidifier was not hooked up initially and severely leaked water. Now, humidifier does not work at all.
* New on-demand water heater does not heat properly and we've had to take freezing cold showers many times. When they plumbed the house, they left stones in the lines which broke the water heater. When they came on a service call they wanted to blame the drilling company when it was Hand H who did the excavating!
Despite all these issues, Bob continues to be abrasive and wants to charge us for all service calls!
Bob responded personally to the latest call. He is unsophisticated in his approach; did not have gages to monitor air flow, just guessed at what was wrong. He had to call the furnace manufacturer to ask questions about basic settings...
We spent $35,000 for this HORRIBLE nightmare. Avoid Hand H at all costs...

I woke up through the night to a cold house and I investigated and deduced the problem (furnace inducer motor assembly). Having just purchased the home the furnace was covered under a home buyers warranty program. The cost of the part was more than the warranty deductible so I called the repair in. H and H called us back that morning and I was able to speak with a technician and tell them exactly what the problems was. They were able to come out that day and replace the inducer motor assembly.

They responded very quickly, they had someone to my home within 24 hours. They are very thorough and cleaned a bat out of the system. They went above and beyond and I will use them again.

THEY DID A FINE JOB. I THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE THEY CHARGED ME WAS REASONABLE, BUT I DID NOT COMPARE IT TO ANY OTHER COMPANIES. I THINK THEY DID A GOOD JOB ON EVERYTHING.
