The job was very well done and it was not a small job. It took one person two long days to perform all the work but he was meticulous. We chose this company for a few reasons: 1)they were the most prompt in getting back to me; 2) their estimate, while not the lowest, was at the lower end; 3) the same company had done a really nice job on our roof 9 years ago; and 4) they were able to schedule my job within days, not a month or more out. The person who worked on our gutters, Douglas, had been the crew lead on our roof 9 years ago. He did an extremely good job with the gutters. We had also used this group for our roof 9 years ago since our next door neighbors had used them and highly recommended them.

Well it's been almost a year and a half ago, and I never climbed up on a ladder and looked into the gutters after, it seems they are all draining well with the exception of one that kept spilling over the edge during the spring melt, but that may have been due to the large amount of water coming off the roof.

Jim came out when promised and work was done quickly.

It was okay. They did a decent job. I won't use them again. They were on time, they were there when they said they would be here. They did a fine job. It was easy to get them to come out but there schedule was really packed. The time when they could do it is difficult. They charged me too much for the extra job.

They came out on time, worked quickly and did an excellent job. They also had the lowest quote of any that we received. I would highly recommend them.

They came out and did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it.

Jim said he would come out and start the work and never arrived and does not return phone calls.

This company came out with just 1 man to do gutters on 6/22. I had to leave for the day, but said that I'd be back before he finished. When I came home, only about 1/4 of the gutters were done, and half of it was hanging off my garage. No sign or phone call to let me know where the guy was or if he was coming back. He did come back out the next day to work and finished the install. He demanded full payment for the job. Later that week, it rained. To my dismay, the gutters were leaking on the majority of the corners and seams. There was a section of gutter that was too short and didn't catch the water at all and rain was just pouring down on the side of the house! How do you install it and not see that it is too short??? It was a REAL HASSLE to get someone to come out and inspect the problem. The owner personally came out and gave me a nice song and dance about how he'd take care of everything and make sure it was done right. (Shouldn't it have been done right the FIRST TIME???) Someone else FINALLY came out around late July, more than a month of water randomly leaking all over my property. This person worked and said he would reseal all the seams. He STILL could not fix the gutter that was short on one side of the house and had to come back out a later date. After all that was done, I now STILL HAVE areas that leak. These are the same areas that leaked and I complained about those last time they were out! I have been texting, phoning the owner and the office regarding getting refunded a portion of my payment because they charged me for labor and materials that were never installed. The owner has put me on his low priority list, except he has collected all my money since JUNE! It is now the end of August and the gutter job, which has needed FOUR attempts to fix, is still leaking. UPDATED 9/17/2013 I have been able to finally get ahold of the company to repair the final two leaky spots. It has not rained since the repair so I haven't had a chance to reinspect the work. I was told that one of the spots is not gutter related and that it's roof related. This seems really odd to me as I don't recall the area leaking BEFORE the new gutters were put on. The company finally refunded me for materials that were paid for that they did not need to install. Overall, I am have been less than impressed with this company. If I could do it all again, I'd have gone with another quote that I had gotten. Hindsight is 20/20. I'm left with the sinking feeling that if I ever needed warranty work, would I be "left out in the rain?"

He did the inspection. The estimate was too pricey for me.

Went well, they had to come back and readjust a gutter above my back door, but the worker came back promptly, finished the job, cleaned up afterward. I would hire them again.

Gutters were not installed correctly and needed more, and the siding is still an issue.

Bait and Switch I thought I was getting a gutter guard instead they sent a sub contractor who only installed wire mesh. Didn't even provide a receipt.

They did a very good job! I will definitely consider them when I plan for comprehensive roof repair/replacement in the years ahead. .

I had to keep calling to get a firm date. I had trouble scheduling at first due to weather and then due to a no show/no explanation/no call. One bright sunny day when the work was scheduled to be done, I spent the day waiting, calling the office and Jim Jackson's cell phone, yet no one responded or called back to give any explanation. No one ever returned my calls. The following week I had to call the Gutter Doctor myself to get another date for installation. When they did show up on the next install appointment, the Gutter Doctor Plus installed the wrong color down spouts. Even after I complained, they refused to correct it and even refused to allow me to provide the proper color down spouts for them. The installation was obviously incorrect and was done anyway. That is how I came to the conclusion that this contractor cannot be trusted to do reasonable work. Gutter Doctor Plus started installing downspouts the wrong color. No gutters were on the work truck at all and any gutter install would require a future separate trip. Jim Jackson, the owner, was called. I spoke with him on the phone and he refused to correct the situation. He left me with an unsightly situation. He refused to correct it in a timely fashion. The "Boss," Jim Jackson, by phone, said he had no white down spouts in stock to get the job done, none on the truck or in his shop. Jim Jackson refused my offer to provide matching color white down spouts for his crew so the correct downspouts could be installed. The truck left with my old white down spouts segments without my permission. The new wrong color down spout segments the Gutter Doctor Plus attached are marred and the end sections have sharp dangerous edges and are uneven. Despite my protests that the work needs to be completed properly, the truck left the day of the installation. Work was not completed. Sharp shreds of cut downspout material were left in the lawn. The next week, Jim Jackson called. His excuses for the failure of his crew to install the right color downspouts were not credible. His workers are not color blind. The install crew saw that the segments of downspouts they were attaching were not a matching color to the rest of the downspouts, yet they were installed anyway. I told Jim Jackson that his behavior and that of his crew last week proved to me that he was not worthy of my trust to do the job properly. I am requesting a refund through Angies List since I paid for the service through Angies list. I told him that I did not want him or his crew at my house ever again. A few minutes later, I got another call from him that he had gone to my house to "drop off a refund check," --even right after I had just requested that he refund the payment for service through Angies List. I had prepaid through Angies List and and I had just told him that I did not trust him at my home ever again. Yet Jim Jackson said he went to my house (without notice or approval) when I was not home! My husband and I raced to our house getting there in less than 5 minutes after Jim Jackson's last call. No check was found. I called Jim Jackson of the Gutter Doctor Plus and he did not answer my call so I left a voice message that I was expecting a refund through Angies List as requested.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They were very good and they did a real good job. They cleaned up after themselves and we didn't have a mess.

Overall it was a good experienced. Someone came out to assess the job on the day and time that was decided. Installation was set for 2 weeks from that date. However, a couple days before the company emailed to say it was too cold to the job and we rescheduled. Then I received an email saying that my supplies were not received and we would have to reschedule. Before anything was decided the manager upgraded my gutters for free so that the work could be done on the appointed day. On that day the workers were here at 9 and finished the job in the early afternoon.

They were on time, did great work, and cleaned up leaving no big mess.

Needless to say I did not give them the job.

Contacted company for estimate for roof replacement and gutter system. Estimate done the following day, was very competitive. Did some research on the actual shingles, and once we were satisfied that the PRODUCT was good, called company for install. Again very punctual, work completed the same week. Very professional group, came with 10-12 workers, so work was done FAST. Cleaned up very well, moved our patio furniture etc out of the way. Roof and gutters look GREAT!

The estimate was provided very quickly and the work was scheduled at my convenience. The installers arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently, making sure that all issues were resolved to my satisfaction. Note (This is about how the deal was structured and not about any of the work itself): In order to get the Angie's List Deal, this was the specified contractor. I had already paid for the deal discount and had to accept the estimate to have the work done. The price seemed reasonable, but I have no basis for comparison.

I had a problem with the gutter being tilted away from the downspout. He came out and looked at it 7:00 Saturday night and said he would be back in a couple in a couple of days and take care of it and when I called a week later they said the crew had been busy and would try to make it out soon.

Overall, it was a very positive experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company.

I was very satisfied with the work, and very impressed with the quality of this product. I would NOT hesitate to recommend this company to family or friends....& I am elated that I will NEVER have to climb a two-story extention ladder again to clean the gutters.... If there was a way to give an "A +++" rating on Angie's List, I would give it to The Gutter Doctor. I previously interviewed 5 other companies for my roof repair and new gutter installation job, and no one really knocked my socks off. Then I met Jim from The Gutter Doctor. He was friendly, informative, and offered me a very fair price. I hired them on the spot. Everyone from Trixie in the office, to Jim the salesman, to the two hard-working installers, were a pleasure to deal with. The installers worked non-stop all day from the time they arrived until dark. They wouldn't even take a lunch break when I offered to buy them lunch! The job was performed expeditiously (2 days) and professionally. My house looks beautiful and I've had a number of comments from neighbors on what a great job they did. So, if you are looking for a professional company that is customer-friendly, does a great job at a very fair price, and cleans up thoroughly when they are done, then you need look no further.
