I explained to Tim already. The work was great and professional but when your worker shows up without the right parts and you bill the client for his time to go to Home Depot that doesn’t sit right with me. Plus Home Depot is 10 minutes away and he was gone for 1:15, maybe he stopped for gas or breakfast? Not a big deal but don’t bill me for that time.

It went alright. They did a great job once they actually got to my house but getting them there was a struggle. They would show up unannounced and then leave when I didn't answer the door when they could've just called in the first place. All in all, they did great work but the lack of communication really is a flaw in their network. I would use them in the future if they better communicate next time.

Tim gave me an estimate of $700-$1,000 over the phone and offered to send someone over the next day. Alan, the electrician arrived the next day. He had to go shopping for supplies and had to redo some of his work. He worked slowly and they conveniently charged per hour. It took 9 hours! They gave me a bill for double the maximum estimate. I was shocked at a job that I expected a maximum cost of $1,000 (already very high) ended up being billed for $1,986 (outrageously high). The electrician didn't tell me how much the bill was before he left my house that day, saying that I would get the bill later. After a few e-mails and phone calls, they lowered their outrageous bill by almost $200. However, the new bill of $1,792 is still a crazy price to pay to hook up power for a new hot tub. I will never use and would never recommend Current Electrical Systems again.

Randy did an excellent job! In addition to changing out our fuse box into circuit breakers, he added a whole house surge protector for us. When the township inspector came to check things, he seemed impressed that we had that. I would hire Tim and his team again for any electrical needs. We are very satisfied with the work that was done.

Great. They were careful, neat and clean and the finished work is perfect. So professional! They were very quick but careful. They made sure that they installed the new lights in the exact place I wanted them and put a dimmer switch in for them.

The electrician was terrific, personable and competent. My electrical fuse box was tested and determined to be in good shape. The technician recommended that a surge protector be installed on the main electrical box which I decided to do. He was also straight forward in mentioning that the issue I was concerned about (3 I-Phone adapters/chargers stopped working in a 2 week period) was curious and that it might be caused by "dirty" electricity from DTE.

Unfortunately, my circuit breaker panel is located more than 50 feet from the garage. The electricians had to cut several holes in my finished basement ceiling to route the wiring. They carefully cut the holes and left the removed pieces for the drywall specialist to use in repairing them. Couldn't ask for better service. Thanks.

Rick the technician was amazing! Could not be happpier with his work, timely arrival, friendly, fast and professional. I received a response in less than 1 hour from Tim upon my initial request for service and they were able to come out same week. I highly recommend these guys. Prices are very reasonable and they don’t waste any time. Do not hesitate to call these guys. I will never use anyone but them for our residential electrical needs/projects.

Went fine. I stepped in to assist a widow with the situation in her home. During the hot stretch in late July, the new A/C wouldn't work and the A/C contractor identified the need for repair/replacement of the "circuit breaker" feeding the A/C, which was actually one of the old screw-in fuse panels. I looked in Angie's List for an electrician, and Tim Lambert of "Current Electrical" phoned me right away. Tim sent his crew member out to scope out the job, and provided a verbal quote which homeowner and I accepted. Job was done the next day. The building inspector found some small concerns with the original construction, and Tim fixed them. As a result, the final price was higher than the original quote, but work was added. Tim and I discussed the changes, and the result is the homeowner, Tim, and I are happy with the result. The layout of the wires into the new service panel is neat and orderly, Tim's crew was polite and cleaned up when they were done, and were respectful that they were in someone else's home. General Comment: It's always better to have a good scope of work and a written quote before hiring a contractor, but the semi-emergency to restore the A/C didn't let that happen. Tim got the work done, I understand the cost changes, the work passed the inspector, and all is good. I would hire Tim's company in the future.

Excellent service and work. Highly dependable and honest. My job was quoted at time-&-material, the final bill was spot-on to the work performed. Tim (owner) and Josh (area manager) are great to work with. I've given them another job.

They did fine, efficient work. Very pleased with the result. They had a bit of a problem with rescheduling (twice), however they made up for that by adjusting the price. We would definitely hire them again!
