Terrible results. Remember, you never know who contractors will subcontract. They won the bid primarily on their stated ability to do the second floor balcony work. The workmanship was abysmal. The $1,900 sliding door flange was nailed through the insulation and stuck out too far for Pella to warrant the installation. They built no header over this expensive door. They added a header upon complaint, buI I took off the siding and reinstalled the door only to find slip-shod workmanship behind it. The flat roof was not flat and the floor was loose in spots when the nails (not screws) immediately started to back out. They fixed the center pooling of water to a degree and the immediate offending nails with a patchwork of added pieces glued to the rubber roof.
Oh, and yeah, the roof leaks in a number of places too.

The summary is that the subcontractor was working fast and cut corners and the CS Roofing management never apologized and grudgingly backed up some, not all, of their work.

the crew were hard workers, careless at times, the trimming, edging was poorly done.

It took longer than estimated but workers worked very hard and did a very nice job. Some clean up issues but not terribly bad. I would use them again.

I received an estimate and was given a discount for a "spring special". I was given a date for hte work to begin. The start date was delayed because they were behind on anothe job and then due to weather. One day I found a ladder and some material laying in my back yard. (In the beginning, the office staff answered questions quickly and wer polite.) When the shingles were delivered to begin the job, the weight of the truck and frost/freeze conditions, my driveway was cracked significantly. I noticed this when I came home for lunch to check on the progress. I initially thought that the weight of the dumpster cracked my driveway. I called the office and the office representative was very rude. She contacted the supervisor and he arrived at my house. In the interrim, my neighbor came over and indicated that he witnessed the shingle delivery and heard the driveway crack when the shingles were delivered. The supervisor arrived and tried to convince me that the cracks had been there all along. Then my neighbor talked ot him and he told me that he would contact the shigle company and take care of it. The job was ompleted and a different supervisor was sent to finalize the paperwork. I signed a zero percent financing form. After they left, I realized that they had taken a tarp and bungie cords that I had on my roof prior to the commencement of hte job and that the price on the financing form was incorrect. My neighbor also infirmed me that they crew took 3 - 4 unopened bundles of shingles and several opened shinglesfor which I had paid. I called the office and the office person was very rude. She said that I was not entitled to the "spring special" since I went with the zero percent financing option. this was never mention and was not documented on the agreement that I signed. I also mentioned that other issues and she said htat she would leave a message with the supervisor. I did not hear from him for several weeks. I sent an e-mail restating the above and he dropped off the bungie cords and 6 shingles. I sent a certified letter requesting that my driveway be repaired and included two estimates, I requested the unopened shingles or that I receive a refund for their value, and I requested a refund for the spring discount. The certified letter was refused so I resent the leter delivery confirmation. I have still not received any acknowledgement from the company. My dirveway has to be replaced and will cost approximately $5000. I have not had any problem with the quality of the roofing work and initially believe that the workers did a good job with the installation.
