 + -1 moreBarbara Zinser of Charles Reinhart Ann Arbor assisted me in the sale of my home and the purchase of a new home. She was involved from my original decision to sell, assisted me in suggesting improvements to make the house more attractive for potential buyers, and represented my interests throughout the sale. She also assisted me in finding a house that met all of the requirements that I had described to her. She negotiated with the sellers and worked with me to ensure a good home inspection. Although I consider myself knowledgeable in the real estate market, her assistance was invaluable in both of these transactions. I would recommend her for anyone needing a real estate agent.

 + -1 moreThey did not get the job done but the experience was good. The house did not sell but they were very professional in their approach and they did what they thought was a good job. They did not charge us anything.

 + -1 moreIt was a very positive experience overall; Barbara was extremely accommodating especially since our search lasted for almost six months. She was thorough and proactive in all the details involved with getting the closing accomplished. She's wonderful; I can't say it enough.
Description of Work: We wanted to settle in a brand new area and had no idea where to start. We had decided to rent for a six month period and look at buying after that. When our self-arranged rental turned out not to be appropriate for us at the last minute, we were caught between a rock and a hard place, as our house in our former community had already sold and we were speeding toward closing without a new place to live in a new city and state. We were desperate and called our current agent for help. She had a friend, who knew someone who had a friend who was an agent in Ann Arbor. We called in desperation and that's how we initially found Barbara Zinser. Best turn of luck we could have had. Her calm, confident and friendly manner put us at ease right away. She assured us that we would be able to find the right solution to our short term rental dilemma and that we would be in exactly the right hands for our search for the right home for us. It took almost the entire six months for us to find what we were looking for and Barbara was a true partner for the entire process. I can't say enough about her; her personality, confidence and true professionalism in every way are the reasons I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new home. We had great experience; she's wonderful!
