The woman at the counter was super friendly and went through some questions with me. After a brief wait, we were shown a room. The Doc did a quick exam and listened to what I was saying about the problem my little guy was having. He gave him a shot, gave me some meds to take home and then told me what to look for. He described the issue in great detail and answered all of my questions. He also mapped out what we could do next if the first line of defense didn't work. The doc actually talked to my cat and patted him endearingly. I've been to other vets who kind of just treated my animals like inanimate objects, so this was nice. He also helped me get my little guy back in the carrier. I had struggled with this, but he made it look really easy and showed me how to make it easier.
Bonus: My cat is blind and the Doc told me I could use contact solution to help out his eyes - which is a load cheaper than the cat-specific drops. He said it does the same thing, but for far less, which was helpful.
Overall, I would go back and I would recommend their services. One of the women at the counter was a bit sassy at the end of the appointment, but nothing too bad. Also, it might just have stood out because everyone else was super nice. They were courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and fit me in without an appointment.

I just moved to the area and we left an amazing vet, so I was worried we wouldn't get someone as good or as good with my cats. After researching area clinics, I made the decision to call Arbor Hills and was extremely happy I did. Very personable and professional. The only thing that was hard was paying for an office visit for what ended up being a and quot;leave it aloneand quot; situation, but that's not the doctor's fault. I will certainly take my cats back to him in the future! Highly Recommeded!

This is a really great vet! Do not hesitate to take your pets here. I've taken my cat to Arbor Hills Animal Clinic since 2003. I have mostly dealt with Dr. Darga, Kristen, Margaret, and Ariana (spelling?). Not only is he a great vet, but Dr. Darga has excellent rapport with both humans and animals. Kristen is wonderful and goes out of her way to provide excellent service, and is also extremely knowledgeable. In fact, all of the people working there are great. Their prices are very reasonable, too. A++! The best thing about this place is I can tell they truly care for my pet, and he obviously loves it there.

I appreciate having one vet who owns the practice with one assistant and a person for the office. He offers commonsense solutions to problems with animals (no tranquilizer prescriptions for cats!) I returned to him when my rottweiler had an accident which practically severed her toe. She was going crazy trying to chew lose all the bandages and then live with the restraint which kept her from her foot. Dr. Darga suggested that the injury would heal all right and I and my dog would be happier if she could lick that foot so he removed the bandage. He was absolutely right resulting in a happy dog and owner. He was willing to "put down" my 22-year-old cat that had a stroke and was blind. While my previous vet believed tranquilizers were the answer.
