I stopped by this gas station to get gas as I was almost out.  I filled the car up, and when I went to start the car it wouldn't start.  Coincidentally, this repair shop is attached to the gas station.  I went inside to ask if someone could give me a jump - not knowing it was my starter.  The mechanic came out with me and determined the starter was bad (no noise when turning the key).  He asked if I lived near-by, and I told him 15mins away.  He offered to keep the car that night, drive me home and repair it in the morning.  He also quickly offered the price of 365 (before tax).  One of his colleagues immediately said "That's a good price!"  It sounded a bit high to me, but I didn't have many options at that point.  I agreed to it, and they drove me home.  On the way home, they offered to come to pick me up too in the morning if that would help.  They called 9:30am Saturday morning letting me know the car was done.  They came to pick me up in my car at 10:30, and I drove them back.  The offer to drop me off/pick me up was very nice without an extra charge.  I did call my regular dealer asking for a price quote on the repair.  They said it would be $300 w/ tax or 27% less than what I paid.  Overall the experience was nice, but knowing the price is that much higher I wouldn't return.
