Landscaping
Appel was recommended because we wanted to use native plants exclusively and remove many invasives around our lake cottage in the Waterloo Recreation Area. Mike listened to our needs and divided the projects into phases to match our budget. First phase was getting the "hardscape" of our lake cottage landscape into place last fall. He was able to find and match the stone from an old area around the cottage, so everything looks like it was done together. He worked around our plant interests and requests and we got the plant material installed this summer. Still have another phase or two to get everything done that we want, but we're well on the way to having the landscape we desire.
