Vernon talked a great game but his workmanship was poor. Partway through the project I discovered that the sprinkler lines were not properly buried. Most of them were just under peeled back grass and some spots were still visible on the surface. I had been very clear that the lines needed to be buried below the depth of penetration for a lawn aerator. When I complained he gave a variety of defenses including that the lines would sink into the ground with snowfall, that an aerator could not penetrate the plastic pipe, and that my lawn would not need aerating. Also more than half of the sprinkler heads were sticking up more than 3 inches out of the turf and at risk of being destroyed by a lawn mower. I had to reinstall most of what he did. If you hire him I would advise having everything specified in writing and monitoring his workmanship very closely.

Vernon specializes in sprinklers - and it shows. For the last 5 years, I have been using a large landscaping company that does not specialize in sprinkers. Because head pressures were so low with the old company, they had recommended replacing whole system for $5K (I have a 3 acre lot with 20 zones and 2 timers...). Vernon called and asked for a chance and found time in his schedule to visit within 2 days. Vernon came on time and is very professional. He revived the old system completely in one morning's work. The other sprinkler companies I have used in the past charged 20% more for activation and required a 1 month lead time. Vernon immediately found and repaired the leaks in the system that the unspecialized company had caused and was unable to find. He made setting and maintenance recommendations that will continue to save me money this year. I will not use a general landscaping company to touch my sprinkers anymore. Last year my lawn suffered due to insufficient watering and now I am paying the landscaping company that caused the problem much more in fertilizer, mulching and lawn repair than I paid Vernon for solving the root of my lawn problem - water. I recommend Vernon unconditionally and will use him for maintenance and turn off as well.

Went well. He worked tirelessly and extensively to discover the issue and fix the problem. Even went above and beyond to address other issues within the system and landscaping. Improved the quality of the sprinkler system, and would not stop until it met his high quality standard.

I hadn't used my in-ground sprinklers in a couple of years to save money. Last year Mulch was laid down over my flowers beds covering my sprinklers. Vernon started up my sprinklers, replaced my controller, replaced damaged heads and located the buried sprinkler heads. He came multiple times until the job was done.

Very responsive, he found and repaired all the buried leaks and replaced, repaired or adjusted defective sprinklers and nozzlers, worked hard for over 4 hours, examined each zone thoroughly and repaired everything. We had never used the sprinklers since we moved in 2014 and we had construction work and repairs done around the house. Many buried sprinklers and damaged lines. Previously hired company came twice for short time and never finished work, although they did some needed repairs. Vernon came promptly and did not leave until everything was in order.

The system is like new - great pressure and all of the sprinkler heads now work and the there are no leads anymore - even ones we can't see.

Mr. Wilson showed up just a few hours after I called. This was in contrast to most companies I contacted who said the earliest they could come out was in 3 or more weeks. Mr. Wilson promptly diagnosed the problem and had the root removed 30 minutes later. He also did a complementary check of my other sprinkler heads, adjusting a couple at no cost. Fantastic service, would hire again without hesitation.

I called this morning and Vernon arrrived within 35 minutes. Had the line fixed and tested the entire system to ensure nothing else was not working properly.  Mr. Wilson has worked on my sprinklers before, so he knows the system. Still he is exceptionalyy repsonsive and speedy. He is also meticulous,  conscientious and thorough.
