Jesus was extremely friendly & does great work.  
Even though he'd never seen a curling shoe, after explanation he knew exactly how to make my son's custom curling shoes perfect (by attaching a slider material to the left foot) & he did it in less than a day so they could be used at my son's first curling bonspiel.  
Additionally, he found the perfect matching button for my very comfortable but previously unwearable shoes & I'm happily wearing them again now.
Jesus obviously takes pride in his great work.  It's apparent by the smile on his face as he presents his work.  It was a pleasure doing business with him & next time I need a shoe repaired I'll be going back to him.
I was also happily surprised to find that there is parking readily available in the small strip of businesses where he's located.  Since it was an Ann Arbor address, I was initially worried that I might have to hunt around for a parking spot, but that was not the case.

They were able to repair a zipper on a suitcase. They resewed individual teeth in the zipper. Therefore I did not
need to replace it or throw out the suitcase. I was very pleased with the service and the price.

I found many positive reviews on Yelp for Ann Arbor Shoe Repair so I decided to try it - I've been a frequent customer of shoe repair in other cities I've lived in so I have been looking for a local shoe repair person. They were busy on a Saturday but Jesus evaluated my shoes and told me what they would need to do. Price quoted on the day of drop-off was the same as I paid. I picked up the shoes about a week later (they were ready sooner but I couldn't get there until the following weekend), and they were polished, repaired and looked great. They had repaired both shoes in the pair where one had a defect so that they will wear evenly. Defects on the heel had been blacked in. Service was courteous and honest.
