Description of Work: Hired Justin on a friend's referral to install duct work to 2 new additions on my house and install a range vent in my new kitchen. Seemed decent at first and then things went down hill from there. Started the job in late 2016. The additions were approximately 900 s.f. total. Very first scheduled date said he would be there at 9:00 am and showed up at 3:00 p.m, and that pattern continued throughout the process. Very careless work and a lack of attention to detail. 2 times turned off the gas in the house and left for the day without turning it back on, hangers lacking on gas line so no support. On the range vent which is 48" the exhaust pipe is 8 " and the air intake he installed was 6 ", what's wrong with that picture ! Duct work connections were not sealed, and the duct work was missing hangers. He supposedly completed everything he could until the shroud cover for the vent pipe came in, and it was back ordered from manufacturer. It was 2 months before it arrived in the mean time he disappeared. When shroud arrived I texted Justin to let him know and he acknowledged my message and then nothing. The date on that was May 20, 2017. I followed up with another text on July 23, 2017 and Justin responded o.k. coming over tomorrow to take care of anything you need done and I'll call you after lunch. Never called and never showed the following day as he said he was. So now were at 5 months going on 6. Was supposed to be here today, August 23, 2017 and again a no show. City of Grand Rapids did a inspection on his work and it failed and was not approved. Justin has had months to finish everything except the backordered shroud. Do not hire this guy

+ 0 moreThe young man that runs the company is one of the hardest working people I've ever met. He was very responsive and fast if you need help right away. He was very polite. He provided good value and I was impressed with his pricing.
Description of Work: I had him fix my propane gas fireplace. He also moved a gas line for me during some construction in my basement.
