I tried for two months to find a tree service in the Alpena area to return my calls and come out to look at my tree. I have a cottage and it's not easy to organize these types of things from 250 miles away. I finally called A-1 and was glad I did. They responded to me immediately and arranged to come out to see the tree and provide an estimate during the July 4th holiday weekend, which I greatly appreciated because they're a family and want to enjoy the holiday as well. Steve provided an estimate that was very fair and said he'd get to it as soon as his crew was working in the area again, probably within a week or two. Good to his word, I received a call that the tree was removed. Steve and Natalie were very easy to work with, flexible with their time, and I would definitely use their service again. Trees and my cabin don't seem to get along, so it will probably be sooner than later!
