Smith's Waterproofing was very helpful in explaining the process and outlining all options to fill a crack that was in the poured concrete basement wall. They showed up on-time and cleaned up once they finished. In comparing prices, Smith's was cheaper. I would do business with them again.

Great.  they did a great job for me.  They injected sealant into basement wall cracks (2)  and on a possible third they have marked it to watch exactly where leak is - near a corner - one wall or other.  I will call them when I can note where it is coming from.  Plumber quoted me $500 per crack.  Getting professional waterproofing company at better rate is something I am so happy to have done.

Nice job.  Excellent references.  Prompt estimate and service.  Very personable.  The owner himself came out for most of the job.

Will be recommending them.

Smiths came to our home about three weeks before the work was done and did an evaluation and gave us an estimate. There was no high pressure sales pitch. I had gotten other estimates including someone who wanted to do a $40,000 repair! Smith's estimate was not the cheapest but their process seemed better and more solid than any other wall repair we looked at.

We moved everything away from the walls prior to the workers arriving. The workers were on time and very professional. They explained everything they were doing. They brought in two crews instead of one so the work was completed in one day instead of the original estimate of two days. Their clean up at the end of the day was very thorough. There were no problems at all during the prcess. They applied their process to three of four basement walls covering a length of about 110 feet. The cost was exactly as estimated and there were no suprises.

After repainting the walls look great! It is not obvious at first glance that work was done on them. It has been six months since the work was done and I see no signs of any cracking or shifting on the walls. The works comes with a 25 year guarantee. I highly recommend them.

They are excellent and are going to make sure it works before they bill me. I have used them before and they are very honest with good prices. I just referred them to a friend of mine and she has been very happy with them. I will use them again in the future.

It was a pleasure dealing with them. They were the last of six firms I contacted for estimates to fix the water seepage problem. They were out within a couple of days of my call to do the estimate, and their explanation of what they would do, and the materials they would use was excellent.

They were able to schedule the work within two weeks, and the whole job took two days. They were very professional. Closed off the area in the basement where they were working, and used fans to remove dust to the outside. As they were tearing out the old system, Blair was able to show me and explain why the old system wasn't working. He pointed out material that were used that were wrong for the job, and aspects of the previous work that were poorly done.

All of the people who participated were very professional and seemed to take pride in the work they were doing. I was really happy with the way their concrete people finished the floor. It is very smooth and even with the existing floor.

I would not hesitate to use them again if needed and would recommend their services to anyone.

I was very impressed by all of the workers on the site. Each seemed to take great pride in their work and wanted to make sure I was aware of what they were doing as the job progressed and that I was satisfied with the work. They excavated the area around the basement, applied waterproofing and returned the site to better condition then when they found it. They returned to do additional work when runoff from another area caused additional leaking. They caulked all of the windows and doors and tuck pointed areas of my home where water could enter although it would not directly affect the basement. Mr. Smith was very responsive to all questions and provided lots of information about the work and general waterproofing. I highly recommend his company and would not hesitate to use them again.

Update 6/3/11:  The rainy season resulted in a return of the leaking problem from last year.  Smith's has returned to inject additional waterproofing to resolve the problem however the leak is still present after a hard rain.  Smith's has honored their contract and have stated they will continue to troubleshoot until the leak is resolved.
