+ 0 moreWhen I came home, I still had standing water in the basement, so I called because I thought they hadn't been over yet. I guess they had in the very short amount of time I had been gone (another reason I was surprised by the price---wouldn't we all like to make $200 for less than an hour's work!!!)
Description of Work: I had no idea snaking a drain and removing a piece of plastic could cost $200.00 and I called Butcher but received no explanation or justification for the price.

+ 0 moreWe have no complaints whatsoever about the experience.
Description of Work: Our water main into the house had broken, and the ground was still frozen from winter. Because it was on city property for the most part, I could not service it. My basement literally had waterfalls out of the walls. We called around, and were referred to Butcher Excavating. Within a day, we had Joe ( the owner) at my home for a quote, and in 3 days , the work began. Even after finding out that the water drain from my house was installed incorrectly years ago, which constantly filled in the hole they were working on, they still were done in a few hours. All of the workers were easy to talk to, professional, and very friendly. They even came back when it was warmer to fill the area with topsoil and planted grass! I recommend them to all my neighbors that have low water pressure. Filling my pool used to take over 2 days, but now takes 10 hours! We are very happy!
