The job went well once it got started, but we had to wait a few days longer to get started because the job before ours involved unexpected reconstruction of a subfloor before a new shower could be built. That is the only reason I gave them a B for responsiveness, and it really wasn't their fault. I suppose those kinds of things can happen anytime. Once they did get to our job, it went extremely well. The installer tore out the old tile the first day, chiseling it by hand. All debris was cleaned up carefully and we had very little mess in the house. The second day he filled in and leveled the base with skimcoat, then let it dry. Then he laid the tile, and did a fabulous job arranging the tiles in just the perfect arrangement for that small room. It dried overnight, and on the third day he grouted the floor and cleaned everything up really well. We later had a plumber install our new toilet. All we have left to do in there is seal the grout and replace the shoe moldings, as the original ones disintegrated when they were removed (after 35 years of use).
Overall we are extremely happy with the job performed and the beautiful tile we have now in our bathroom. We will definitely go to the Tile Stop again if we ever need new tile anywhere in our home.
