they came out at the end of July to demo my 40 sqft bathroom. I was told bathrooms typically take 3 weeks. No one showed up more than 3 days a week. with many of them only 2 days a week. With that said it took 7 weeks. When it was given back nothing was level, or plum including the tub and tub door. With the tub door closed there was a 2.25 inch gap between the door and the tub. I called them back out to show them the issues with the bathroom. The owner told me he doesn't trust levels. Nor did the person doing the job. No cleanup, didn't paint the inside of close, tile unlevel, water pouring into my basement because the tub and doo not level. They came out to level door, but didn't touch the tub until 6 months later. I told them to leave because they couldn't do the job. I could go on and on of the problems. If you decide to use this company don't say you weren't warned. VERY POOR WORK!

Me and Wife called this company in the winter of 2020 and their contractor Shawn , I believe his name was showed up to give us an estimate on the work and we decided to go forward with them. We agreed to the estimate and financing at that point back in 2020, but was never told he wasn’t going to show up for another 10 months out! He gave us an estimated time out of about 3 months. After almost a year of waiting on roof repair, the work that was scheduled to be done on the inside with the drywall and paint was damaged because of the late roofing repairs. On top of being late and other work was damaged because of it, the work he did on my roofing was done incorrect but some guys he said was a drug addict and then just hires another guy who was clearly on something as well to correct and go over his work to fix it. The door was reset incorrect and doesn’t line up. The trim was done incorrect and was so sloppy even their contractor admitted it was terrible and agreed to redo it over. We also had them install a railing on the upper porch and they had an outside company install it but didn’t give them proper details so they drilled straight through the siding into the house in the closet. The guy through some kind of putty in the hole. Everything was done poorly and cheaply. After all that he literally disappeared for a year, we tried contacting him and his company. Left messages with secretaries and left our number. No one contacted us for almost a year. The contractor Shawn shows up to discuss the work finally but instead demands payment and threatens my wife and I with a lien on our property. We come to an agreement to pay a new price for the poor work and the service and Shawn agrees on the new contract. But then again he doesn’t keep his end of the agreement. No schedule of work was given or a final walk through of the job and sign off on the work with us or a call from the owner. Instead we got random people at our home at any given day. Incomplete jobs and rude service. I only wanted the job done right and at NO TIME did I ever state that I was not going to pay for the job to be done. Instead my wife and I get a call not from the owner but a secretary calling demand payment at once with no proof from them that the job was completed or a walk through with us like the contact stated. The woman that called was extremely rude and threatening. Not professional at all. After I was contacted by her, I was presented with a lien a week later. I have since been in touch with legal counsel to resolve and counter sue them for this defamation and harassment. This has been nothing but stressful and a waste of time.

After some delays to get the needed materials, the job went very well. The crew was punctual and professional. Our house turned out to be one of the nicest in our subdivision. I would definitely use them again.

The project started off well; however, it went south when one of the bricks on my home was damaged and the finished roof resulted in exposed rotten wood on all four corners of my roof corners. Although we could not resolve issues with the project manager, the owner came to our home and wrote orders to fix all our issues quickly and at no cost!! The other issue I had was the workers used profanity the whole time while completing the job. (well not the 2nd crew of workers that fixed the issues)

The project as a whole took longer to complete than was originally agreed upon. There were some issues with a few things they installed, but they fixed them and significantly discounted our original price to make up for the inconveniences. Overall, the kitchen turned out great and they were able to complete it by the modified completion date.

AllPoint was responsive. Tom from Allpoint was easy to work with. The project was pretty extensive with special order roofing. The teams worked safely. The siding team from Allpoint were very detailed, and even made a quick change to a soffit after they completed the section. Based on the workmanship, we added the garage to the scope of the project

By the time they started the job a few days later, I had
hurt my knee and couldn?t walk out into the yard to see what they were doing,
so had to trust in Tom. By the time they were done with the work, I was able to
hobble out to the yard and noticed that they had removed my ridge vent!!!  I was furious. I paid a lot of money to get
that ridge vent installed to correct an air flow problem in the attic years
before, and they removed it!?! And did so without asking me! And with NOTHING
in the contract about it??!!  And then
Tom had the gall to ask me to pay him for the job right then? He was always
difficult to converse with, now it was even more difficult.  I told him that I would not pay him for the
job until I got someone from the City of Royal Oak to come out and see it and
advise me.  He kept bugging me until I
shut the door in his face and told him to go away!  He left, but on his way home he called to
tell me that he would be back in a couple of days to reinstall the ridge vent.
I thought that was an awfully quick change of attitude. The next AM I called
the Royal Oak city inspector and she looked up to see if they had pulled a
permit. Ha! No permit!! No wonder he had such a quick change of heart. He was
at the office an hour later pulling a permit!
He came back and reinstalled the ridge vent and I paid him. Big mistake.
I should have gone up in the attic first to check on the ridge vent. It looked
OK from outside, but inside the attic the opening still had shingles over it,
so it is not functional as a vent. Someone suggested I make them come back and
fix it. H*** no! I do not want to see Tom again ever.  He has no conversational skills and is very
unpleasant.  The woman in the office
(Brenda?) is very nice, but that doesn?t make my roof any better. Now what? Do
I have to go up in the attic and cut out all the shingles and hope I don?t cut
too far? After paying them $2850?
In February when we had a lot of ice build-up, I had leaking
inside my house right where they put (supposedly) the ice/water shield.  I had to pay another company to come over and
fix it. I feel like I got screwed over twice. I wonder if they would have done
the same thing to a man?
Do not use this company.

Response from All Point Construction
"All point construction is sorry you had a bad experience. We came out and did exactly what we said we where going to do including installing ice n water shield. The ridge vent was not on the contract because It was not the right ventilation system for your home. Ridge vent only allows exhaust air therefore requires intake air on both front and back of home. I explained to you that I would of said the same thing before we started the job and that it wasn't about the money. I had asked you to go onto airvent.com which we are certified in many different ventilation systems. You had stated you didn't care and wanted a ridge vent so we delivered that. I still feel the same way about your application."

Instead of several months to complete, it took about 3 weeks! There were some issues, as there usually is with major renovations, but we felt they were minor and not worth mentioning.

He was the only company to answer the phone after we had the wind storm last Monday. I told him I had some wind damage and exposed roofing. I told him I didn't need a repair, but a replacement. He was here an hour and a half later. He gave me several options without being pushy. He was very informative and ended up patching the roof and coming back the following Monday. In between the time he called three times to make sure the tarp was okay. He was very professional, thorough and efficient. They did a great job of cleaning up, as well. He delivered on everything he promised and was phenomenal.

The men that came to do the work could not have been nicer.  They came when I was told they would come and worked every day until the job was completed.  They worked with me and my schedule to come a week later than originally proposed because I was going to be out of state.  They cleaned up the mess as they went and left nothing for me to remove later.   They offered helpful suggestions while working like recommending that we replace the door seal.

This is an old house and as they got into the job they saw problems they had not expected (or at least I had not expected).  The dinning room floor was not level and that had to be addressed before laying the tile.  When the dishwasher was removed to tile under it, we noticed that the line leading to it was damp and had a slight leak.  They replaced this line and replaced any material that was damaged before continuing.  They were careful to connect the new tile to the older tile in the bathroom so that it was not obvious.
The job turned out beautiful.  I see no flaws in the way it was laid. It is perfectly level and even.  I am extremely happy with the work.

They started by protecting the surrounding area from any debris. During this time the shingles and all supplies were delivered.  Then they started the tear-off of the old shingles and placed them in the dump truck that they provided. Then they replace 5 sheets of decking that was required.  Next they installed the GAF Weather Watch Leak Barriers  6' at Eaves and Valleys and 3' at Flashing walls and Chimneys. Then GAF Shingle Mate was put on all remaining rook decks. Next the Drip Edge, which matched my gutter color, was installed.  Then the GAF Timberline HD shingles were installed. Then the GAF Timbertex hip and ridge cap shingles were installed. Then the exhaust vents were installed.  Lastly they went around the house to clean up any debris that were remaining.
