It has been a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this contractor. I hired the company to complete HVAC work (furnace and ductwork) on three separate properties for a total agreed cost of $10,000 each. According to the contract, the terms were that the work would begin immediately upon receipt of a $5,000 down payment, and the remaining $5,000 would be paid upon completion of all work. After receiving the $5,000 down payment, the contractor partially completed the work on two of the properties. Each of those projects took approximately one and a half months, but the work was not fully completed on either. Despite this, I proceeded to send the final $5,000 payment for the third property as previously agreed, trusting that he would follow through and complete the remaining project. Unfortunately, after receiving the money, the contractor failed to begin any work on the third property. Even worse, he has been completely unresponsive to all phone calls and messages since April 25th. It has now been an extended period with no updates, no progress, and no returned communication. This experience has not only caused financial loss but also significant delays and stress, as the work was time-sensitive and critical for the functioning of the properties. I trusted the contractor to honor the contract and complete the work as agreed, but he has failed to do so and has essentially disappeared after being paid in full.
