Yes, I recommend this pro

I would highly ( VERY HIGHLY!!) :) recommend Dr. Gay Gira and Veterinary Housecalls Service.   It is so CONVENIENT and stress free to have my animals seen at my home for routine checkups, rather than putting them through the stress of a car ride and the unnerving (for my dog) smells of a vet office.  I have 2 dogs and until recently a cat.  Dr. Gira is extremely patient and kind-especially important with my nervous dog.  She puts him at ease and the exam and shots she gives him are easily received.  She has a way about her that seems to be very calming to animals and the whole process goes very smoothly.  She is professional and knowledgeable and caring.
Dr. Gira has been our family vet for about 8 years.  She has seen us through the life and times of many of our animals.  One of the most difficult parts of owning pets is having to say goodbye.  Dr Gira has a gift for understanding the sensitive nature of this time.  She is wonderful with hospice and end of life care for animals.  She is very understanding and is willing to help us explore all of our options.  And when it comes time to have to make the difficult decision, she is extremely helpful and supportive.
Housecalls Veterinary Service has helped make caring for my animals a great experience.  In our household, our pets become part of the family and their care and well being is very important to us.  Dr. Gira is the KEY part of the puzzle in helping us do that well.  If I could give Housecalls Veterinary Service an A++++++++ rating, I would!
