"We have no record of any complaint. This is 2 years old! Did you have a police report made? I will be calling your insurance adjuster to verify if you have been Paid for these items. I have pictures of everything that has been thrown away. I will be talking to my attorney about a slander lawsuit on you for this false accusation"
They were early for the appointment and did the best job that I have EVER had done on my carpet. There was an area in the upstairs that no one has ever been able to remove, and they did it! They explain everything, especially their unique TRUE steam method they use, which is much more powerful than other carpet cleaners.
The house smells lovely as their products are all environmentally friendly, and this old carpet has never looked so good!
They may cost a bit more, but never has it been so true that you get what you pay for.
Highly recommended.
"The job was mold remediation (not carpet cleaning). My contact was [member name remove] on this project. I explained at the estimate (and charges in my estimate) time for setting containment, air scrubbers to control the tear out of contaminated walls, ceiling fixtures. [member name remove] choose to do the tear out with out containment & himself unprotected. The result was contaminating the rest of the house. We scheduled their project as soon as we could after [member name remove] contacted us. The first two time in there home were scheduled. The third time which was July 1st , 2014- we went through the entire house demonstrating to [member name remove] the mold had been killed. He was concerned with discoloration on basement wall paint, we recommended a sealer & coat of paint to cover. After we completed going over everything with [member name remove] on July 1st, he was going to get the paint & paint the walls. Our responsibility on this project was to remediate the mold problem & our tests on July 1st demonstrated we were successful. I am not sure what else to tell [member name remove]. The mold is taken care of and some painting will need to be done."
Our carpet is old with some stains. I didn't expect perfection. Cleaners worked very fast, and didn't do a through job. Cleaners made no attempt at some stains, saying they would never come out. In general, I expect the cleaning to take twice as long. Slow down. Let the machine work on the carpet longer. Especially if you have no other jobs scheduled.
We moved all the furniture ourselves, before they arrived. I'm not sure what other customers do, but we always have everything cleared and ready. This should give them more time to clean. There is no reason to rush through.
When they were finished they informed us that the areas would probably be dry after 24/36 hours, and that we should use fans to speed up the drying process.
The gentlemen were very courteous and friendly.
We would probably have been very unsatisfied if we would have had to pay the stated full price of this service, but I guess for the big deal price of $99.00 it was satisfactory. Won't know for certain until the carpeting dries.
Would have liked a walk-thru review to check specific areas with the Cleaning Pro present.
Very pleasant and cordial professionals. Enjoy the small talk, but more so 'after' goals have been met.
No email responses when attempting to contact / schedule via email on their website.
I had to reschedule my initial visit. Neither the initial date or the rescheduled date received a confirmation call even though scheduling took place far in advance [over a month from promo to actual use]. I had to call myself to make sure someone from Steamatic was indeed coming to our home.
I called Anderson Bros. after talking to my insurance agent on the 11th of Dec. and within the hour the owner of the company came out and surveyed the damage. In the following hour he had two men come and take out the burnt microwave and dispose of it to get the majority of the smell from the house. Wednesday the ducts were cleaned and the kitchen wiped down, dishes washed etc...Thursday the carpet and upholstery were cleaned and the chandelier removed. Monday the 17th the furniture was taken off the blocks and put back in the original arrangement.
The workers were very congenial and respectful of my home and belongings.
His equipment was faulty (the scanner to read dampness didn't work properly) he had to go get another one.
By the time he returned my husband had almost all the fecal matter and contaminated water sucked up in our wet dry vac!.
The
Tech then sucked up any remaining spill, and had to cut the carpet away
from the stairway and kitchen area, in cutting the carpet he had to
pull it so hard that it stretched the wet carpet excessively. He
removed the wet padding, and laid the carpet back down.
The tech then
proceeded to try and spray the anti-bacterial liquid, his sprayer did
not work, so he just poured the anti bacterial liquid on the carpet, and
spread it with his gloved hands!!! Then he brought in a huge
dehumidifier and 7 huge fans. The carpet at this point was sopping wet
with the antibacterial liquid! The fans ran 24 hours, and the next day
the tech and I think his boss came back, and by this time the smell was
awful, I was already feeling ill, as was my husband and our pets. At
this point, they (Anderson bros. reps) asked us to sign off that they
were done with the clean-up. We refused and told them they weren't
done, and the job they did was unacceptable. They ended up cutting the
whole piece of carpeting our, the rep then said they couldn't guarantee a
3rd degree spill, (Meaning, tainted water from a toilet). I asked why
they went thru the motions like they could save the carpet, he replied
there was no fecal matter on the carpet, to which I replied, because my
husband had already picked it all up with our wet dry Vac, by the time
the tech returned with a different wet scanner. He even told my husband
to be sure to wash out the vac with bleach!! If this was not an
insurance matter, I would have a BIG problem paying them the $785.00.
The tech also broke several tile on our kitchen floor while he took out
the carpet tack strips. I have never before had such a bad experience with a carpet cleaning company, and I have almost 3500 sq yards of carpeting, and have had it cleaned several times over the last 15 years.
