The office staff were very nice! Dr. Hillary Parlin was the vet to exam my dog Shelby she was great with Shelby and took her time examining my dog and answered any questions I had. I recently recommended Village Veterinary to a friend who just moved into the area.

We have had nothing but the highest praise for all services from Dr. Matthews and Village Veterinary. Recently during a routine check Dr. Matthews found a lump in our 12 year-old dog's abdomen. X-rays showed nothing. Dr. Matthews was not satisfied with that and had us come back the following week to see if it was really there and she did indeed feel it again. An ultra sound was performed the following week showing a large tumor on the dog's liver. Surgery was scheduled immediately. When Dr. Matthews operated she found a very diseased and sick tumor. The surgery was complex and very risky but she persevered and the outcome was amazing. We now have a healthy happy dog once again. The aftercare given our dog was beyond wonderful. She was checked daily, staying the day at the veterinary facility for the first week. Dr. Matthews and her staff not only treated our dog, but her owners as well! We were both distraught and their calm caring manner got us through a very difficult time.
She has operated several times on this dog with great results and on our cat as well.
