After routine work at Tire Warehouse in Yarmouth, the accelerator pedal in our car got stuck down to the floor while driving. The engine accelerated to full speed and we were lucky to pull the car over and turn it off anything bad happened. Tire Warehouse had put a hose in the wrong place which trapped the accelerator pedal all the way down. We asked for a refund for the work they did and we were refused. No apology was offered. Repeated calls to customer service were not returned.

Brought the car in for a simple fix. This was a strange and frustrating experience with a possibly crazy individual. Dropped off car at 10:15, there was only one person ahead of me. They said it would be ready in about two hours, I said if it could be ready sooner, that would be great, and they agreed to call when it was done. The reason we needed the car done was that our kids were driving the car to our camp and we wanted them on the road in time to arrive before dark, so time was of the essence. After 3 hours I still hadn't gotten a call. I called and the manager (who was not there when the car was dropped off) answered and said the car was NOT ready and that they had said they were very busy and would fit it in if possible. That's not what I was told. He then proceeded to argue with me. He accused me of "changing my story" (?) He was rude and argumentative. I had my son pick up the car without having the work done. I would never use this or any other tire warehouse. I strongly recommend Town Fair tire in So. Portland. They are responsive and fair and do a great job.

I’ve been working with them since they opened in Yarmouth. The manager has always been friendly and helpful. I even pulled in early one morning before they opened on way to work with tire going flat and a mechanic arriving early opened up the place to help me out – not knowing I was a regular customer. I’m sure I could get a marginally better price by doing more leg work, but I’m OK paying for the service and convenience.
