George Healey, Plumber (Yarmouth Me)

contacted Agren Appliance in Bath who once sold
ASKO dishwashers. Was immediately transferred
to George Healey's phone number.
He said he fixes ASKO and came to the house a
week later. I had a plumber diagnose the
problem but George then ordered the parts.
The wrong part was delivered weeks later.
He then had to reorder a universal part. I called
him continually for three months, after paying a deposit
of $250. He managed to fix the microwave and
front load seal on the washing machine door, which
now leaks. But it took weeks before returning to
complete the job on my dishwasher.
Finally in April he finished the job. I paid him the
balance owed and went to use the dishwasher
and it was not bolted back in place so water flooded
my kitchen floor. When I called him about this
he said to call the plumber who took the bolts
out to find the original problem since he did not
know how to put the machine back in place!
I had to pay the plumber to come out to the
house to put two bolts in.
George works out of his car. Not a good sign.
I would not use him again. Could have bought a new
dishwasher for what it cost to repair my ASKO.
