I had a 15 yr. old oak table with 6 chairs. The table top was in need of refinishing as were 2 of the chairs. I knew that I could have purchased a new set at a lower price but the set had sentimental value. The manner in which Mr. O'connell assessed and handled the furniture convinced me to be the one to have it refinished. This coming after his remark that the set is worth refinishing. He assured me that I didn't have to strip every chair or the entire table, that spot refinishing was possible, keeping the cost down. I had asked for the table top refinishing to match a oak desk which would be in the same room and the finished product matched perfectly. He was easily reached when I decided to ask for new chair and table glides to be inserted before returning the set to me. The job was finished in 2 weeks time and was easily coordinated with other work being done in my home. What was very helpful as well was being given instructions on how to preserve the finish and care for it.

John's response was quick and informative, telling me exactly what he would do. The desk and chairs came back looking very good, and I am especially pleased with the desk. He answered my questions and explained how I could clean up my chair legs. I found him to be reliable and willing to go extra to get the best results.

GAVE REFERENCES (6) WHICH GAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK ON SIMILAR PROJECTS (SPOKE WITH 2 REFERENCES). PROMPT PICK-UP OF FURNITURE WITH CAREFUL HANDLING. FATHER AND SON TEAM. ESTIMATED 4-6 WEEKS FOR COMPLETE RESTORATION. SPENT TIME EXPLAINING PROCESS AND TIMING AND WHEN AND HOW WE NEED TO PICK UPHOLSTERY FOR THE CHAIRS. WORK WILL BE COMPLETED LATE OCTOBER OR EARLY NOVEMBER 2005.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THERE WERE 2 MEN AND THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL IN HANDLING THE TABLE. THE TABLE IS MAHOGANY AND YOU CAN'T BUY THE WOOD ANYMORE.

THIS COMPANY IS THE BEST. I CANNOT TELL MY CHAIR WAS EVER BROKEN AND THE TABLE LOOKS BETTER THAN NEW. THEY TAKE A LOT OF PRIDE IN THEIR CRAFTSMANSHIP, AS THEY SHOULD. THEY EXCEED EXPECTATIONS.
