Both times were great. In 2007, I was referred to him by a co-worker and gave him a call. I dropped my car off and he called me promptly with an estimate that was a lot more than I wanted to spend. I talked to him for a bit to see if there was a cheaper option and he came up with a few. After agreeing on a option that would cost $250, he proceeded to complete the work. There was no rush to get it done due to nature of my job at the time but, it was done after a few days. I picked it up and wrote a check for $250 as we had agreed on previously. Most recently (October 2008), I had failed a state inspection and had to have some holes patched just forward of the rear axle. We didn't agree on a price because, I assumed it would be around $100 and it was something I absolutely had to do to pass the inspection. Again, there was no rush on the job because I was going on vacation. Despite that, Earl asked a couple of questions such as, 'when is the earliest you'll be back?' that showed that he was committed to having it done when I was ready for it. After my vacation, I came to pick it up and the charge was only $40!! A great surprise for sure. I'd certainly recommend A Body Shop in Maine due to Earl's professionalism. I can't say enough good things about this business!
