The price was surely underestimated so I am grateful and will use them again every year.They did a great job!
I never knew such equipment even existed and was amazed but felt a litttle guilty for the extra work I created for them.

My schedule was tight so they were able to get the information through text and moved the bushes while I was at work. I was happy with how and where they were moved.

Sean and the crew members I met were very polite, professional, and hard workers.  Sean was very responsive, always returning a message the same day, if not within the hour.  He was careful to explain the pros/cons of options and gave clear instructions.  He fit my job in between other things and definitely seemed busy, so there were a couple of times I needed to reach out to him to check on the status of something--but as I said, he would immediately get back to me. The end result looks great. His estimate was the most competitive I received, and then the job ultimately cost much lower than estimated.  Overall: fair, trustworthy, and responsive. I plan to reach out to get an estimate for additional work.

Overall I am satisfied with his services.  He was prompt with any concerns or requests that I had.  The yard was completed very quickly and I would certainly use his services again, though I have decided to make the investment and manage my yard this year. 

He did a onetime fall cleanup for me. He is reliable and I just ask to come every two weeks and the lawn looks nice.

Sean is great. He responded to my initial email within 24 hrs. He started work within one week and did a great job on my lawn. He now comes weekly. He even fixed my gate that was broken without me asking.

  Sean returned my initial phone call within a few hours.  Came the next day to give an estimate and talk about what we wanted to have done.   Came to the job with 2 others, mobilized like a small army and worked very intently and energetically.  The work was terrific.  Fine job!
He did not leave a bill but phoned a few days later to say he sends the invoice by e-mail.  When he suggested a return date for the next mowing, I hedged, because we are strapped financially.  He was encouraging and flexible and seemed like he wanted to work with us.  Kind man who does fabulous work!   (He is returning next week!)

I am MORE than satisfied!  Within 36 hours of my initial inquiry, Sean Ellis Landscaping was at my home to discuss with 
me all my lawncare needs, wants and and various options.   That in itself was impressive.  There was no hard-selling,
no pressure, just courteous professionalism.  When I decided to purchase services from Sean Ellis Landscaping, they
were there within a week to begin.  They have done an excellent job, not only much better than I ever could have done, but 
they even did better than I had ever dared to hope for.  I have no complaints at all, I am soooo happy with them, I will

The lawn came in great

Ellis has worked for me all summer. The work was executed well. He did it every other week which was what I wanted, so he scheduled it well. I am very satisfied so far. It is just a small lawn.

We have needed gutter cleaning since we bought our house in 2010 and have had a very tough time getting someone to do it.  The house is very tall, with a fairly steep pitched roof  and sloped topography and some contractors said they could not do it and another gave an estimate, but after repeated calls, never called back to schedule the work.  
We found Sean Ellis via Angie's list, and although he is based a few towns over, he advertised that he works in Cape Elizabeth.  All contacts with Sean were excellent.  He promptly replied to my initial call, promptly came and provided an estimate, which was very reasonable and when we were ready for the service, was able to schedule us within a few days.  
Sean and his helper were successful in getting the gutters cleaned, but it required him thinking about a few different scenarios to get it done safely.  In the end, with two people at the bottom of the ladder, he was able to reach the highest point and clean the totally filled gutters. 
We then had him take down two big limbs on some tree branches hanging over wires.  This also posed issues which he was able to navigate successfully.
He cleans up, and was a pleasure to deal with.  I highly recommend him and will use him regularly in the future for these type jobs.

Our flower beds were out of control with weeds. We tried to do it ourselves and quickly realized that we didn't have the right tools. We received a couple bids and chose Ellis. I never met him but we talked on the phone and emailed back and forth. They did the weeding first and came back a week or so later with the mulch. It seemed like a long time between the two phases but I knew going in that it would not all happen the next day. It looks great and would use Ellis again.

Although I didn't hear back from Sean as quickly as I would have liked, once we got the estimate and the date set, everything went very well.  The work was performed as discussed and we are planning a regular schedule of maintenance with the company.
