Electrical Connections

I was very happy with the entire project. He returned phone calls and emails promptly, scheduled everything with CMP, and generally just took care of everything that needed to be done and completed everything in a timely and professional manner. I also appreciate the fact that Josh isestablishing himself and growing his business, and I was very happy to be able to assist him with that. I am planning on doing some renovations on my house in the near future and will definitely be calling upon Electrical Connections again.

We were having intermittent brown-outs in all areas of the house and were tripping breakers far too frequently. Josh looked in the panel and discovered that we had corrosion on the metal behind the breakers. This was being caused by water leaking in from our frayed and ancient wire on the outside of the house (not sure what it is called but it leads from the meter to the housing near the roof-line and then out to the pole) which was the old, black coil type. It had frayed and split, allowing water to come right in to the fuse box. He had to schedule the time with CMP, as it was necessary for them to come out and shut the power off for the day. Josh speculated that it would take a few weeks between pulling the permit and getting CMP to come out, but it only took one week. He was in and out in around 6 hours, left no mess behind at all and even though he needed to cut a larger hole in the wall to accommodate the larger panel we wanted, he squared it off at a cross support in the wall, meaning I did not need to do any patching or painting repair. The problems we were experiencing are completely gone and we are able to run several appliances at the same time (a/c, microwave, toaster, etc) without tripping a breaker. He had previously come out to do some reorganizing of wiring inside some outlets to even out our load requirements and replaced a few outlets in the kitchen with GFIs. This was all done in about an hour and at very reasonable cost. Josh is very experienced, knows his stuff and is great at explaining the problem and the solution. I would highly recommend him for any job.
