He was amazing, the piano sounds great, he explained everything to me, the price was exactly as he had anticipated. I will call him again for maintenance on this piano.

Eric was a few minutes late, but he called ahead and informed me he was running late. It was no problem. It's been at least 15 years, and a 600 mile move since my piano was last tuned. Eric did a fine job. Most of the keys sounded OK, but there were a couple of real and quot;clunkersand quot;. He got those tuned and the whole piano sounding very nice. He is very knowledgeable, and we chatted about various features/aspects of the piano and its likely age. He also plays beautifully! He played a few pieces when the tuning was complete to sample the overall sound. It sounded better than it ever will at my hands or those of my family. I hope to have Eric return to tune the piano at least once a year.

Eric came a little late but there was some difficult weather tht day. He was very professional and took excellent care of my 100+ year old piano. I would definitely use his services again.

Eric was prompt and professional. I had several questions, because I'm not a musician. He answered all my questions while working. Eric also offered advice (do's and don'ts) regarding a hammer felt that was delaminating so that we could avoid an expensive repair later on. The piano sounds MUCH better now.

Eric tuned my older, very out of tune piano at my home in Cape Elizabeth. He and his wife Helen who helped with scheduling were both extremely responsive to my email and telephone communications with them and professional and pleasant to deal with. Though I am inexperienced, I think the piano sounds good too.
Eric also was willing to travel to Sanford to inspect the piano before I bought it for a very reasonable charge.

Once we made the appointment, the tuning went perfectly.

He is actually very well organized. I called his number; his wife answered, and she was extremely friendly and right to the point. They scheduled the actual appointment with what the exact time it would take and what time he would be there. I gave him my home address. He used GPS service and didn't need any directions. He was there right on time. He was extremely cordial, very efficient and extremely professional. He is a really professional and well-rounded individual. The price depends on the piano size. We have a very small piano. There was a string that needs to be reattached, he had to repair that. Not only does he tune, he repairs. He is also a music major. He was very affordable for a tuner. I got a lot of references; he is not the only one in the Portland area, so he has got competition. But for the quality of work, it was extremely well-priced.
