Burns fencing put up a new white cedar stockade fence for my backyard.  They were prompt, professional and the cost was competitive.  They removed the old fencing quickly and cleaned up afterward.  The fence is beautiful and the use of metal postings will work great as my backyard tends to be wet.  I would highly recommend Burns Fencing.

The representative came twice to talk to us about the type of fencing and to plan the layout. He came the second time because I was nervous about the plan and he was very patient and helpful to me. The crew came exactly when they were scheduled to come and performed the work quickly. When they left each day, they cleaned up after themselves and left the place looking neat. They were unfailingly polite and professional. Most important, the fence looks wonderful! We highly recommend this company.

We had many back and forth conversations about how best to handle our particular issue. I dealt with Mike, who was very responsive and helpful. Answered all of my questions, and provided updated quotes promptly, as we were trying to decide which approach was the best to use.
We made a fence decision, and had a completed proposal the next day. We paid a deposit, and in a few days they let me know when they were expecting to do the job.
Communication was excellent, be it between Mike and I, or between myself and the installation crew. They showed up excactly when the said they would, and were all very professional. They left the work area neat and clean both days (one day to set post, the other day to finish the job and install gates and fencing.
Final price as exactly as we agreed upon.

. We were very pleased with the salesman, he made some recommendations based on his experience that really paid off in the look of the final installation. It was evident to us that he had our best interest in mind ,more so that how much Burns would make on the project. Kind of unbelievable but true. The Crews led by Tim were hard working, polite and friendly. Took extra care not to disturb large areas of newly seeded lawn, cleaned up everything even smoothing out the area around each post. The fence installation was flawless. Most of the fence was a long arc which was done beautifully. The two gates open and close smoothly and effortlessly and latch securely. The look of the French far exceeded our expectations. We felt we had to put in a fence because of the pool. It turned out that the fence adds to the beauty of our backyard.

Burns' Fencing Inc's job was great. They did the job perfectly and we were pleased with them. They were professional, on time and did quality work. They do little extras if you ask them, such as removing dead branches or stones near the fence they're working on. They left everything looking nice and clean. Their price was reasonable considering the quality of the material and work. You can see by the way they work that they know what they were doing. When they ran into some issue, such as fitting new fence with older one, they just took care of it in no time. They did the work in 2 days, 5 guys with who worked well together; it's a family business. It was all worth it. When I made inquiry by phone, they gave me a better impression that other providers.

On the morning of the agreed-upon date, the Burns truck arrived with two large guys, and they immediately began removing the old and very decrepit fence. It was remarkable how quickly that fence was gone and they began to place the new posts. We consulted with the workers and got the gates to slightly different positions than the old ones had been, and they began driving the posts.
The estimate had stated that if the ground was not suitable for simply driving the posts without requiring cement, there would have been an additional charge of $15 per post, but the posts went in deep and solidly and that was not necessary. The two workers were very quick and efficient, and their equipment was obviously well cared-for and in good condition. The entire project was done in the early afternoon, and was entirely satisfactory.
The only issue we had with the project was that we wanted black chain-link, which makes the fence much less noticeable looking through it. We simply never thought to ask for black fence posts and hardware. The posts and hardware are galvanized, and they do show against the black fence and slats, but I understand that that would have driven the cost up very substantially, so I'm not sorry. Additionally, the plastic slats do not provide a completely obscured view of the neighbors, so we have put reed screening on the inside of the fence, which makes it completely private .

They were nice but the price they were charging me was outrageous. I called them then they came out a week later and emailed me the estimate. They were fine.

Went extremely well and the fence is beautiful. I was told that I did not need to be home during installation, and sure enough the work was done perfectly. Yard looked great afterwards.

since they came earlier than we expected and cleaned up after

It went very well. Especially dismantling of existing fence which took less than 1/2 hour. Very professional in approach and in installation. The whole job took less than 1/2 day. Very pleased with this company.

The contractor met me at my home to go over the job details. I agreed to the proposal over the phone (as I was out of town). The work was completed as agreed (after some initial miscommunication). The fence was installed professionally and promptly at my home in South Portland, ME.

Burns's Fence bid on, and installed a commercial-grade chain link fence on our property in Southern Maine. They did it quickly, efficiently, and the installation was first quality. They accommodated our schedule, and their price was better than two other solicited bids, and they stayed within budget--only adding a small charge for drilling 2 holes in rock, which we had been warned might be necessary. Excellent work, done professionally.

They were good. The job that they did was great. They fenced the whole yard quickly and they came back later and took down all the other fences for us and took it away. We had a big yard to fence and they did a good job. We would certainly recommend them to others. Our contractor was the one that recommended them but we knew they were on Angie's List with a good rating. We would have called them anyway. They did everything we wanted them to do. They were punctual. We don't know how to rate them on price because we didn't check any other places. We didn't do comparison. They were the ones that the contractor recommended. We trusted him, so we went with them. We would definitely use them again in the future if necessary.
