They originally installed a reverse osmosis water filtration system. It pushes the water through these microfilm filters. We have well water so we high arsenic levels in our well. They do it once a year. We've had to have them come out on a weekend and service, that is about $100. This time it was expensive. It was a major replacement. They're expensive but they're the only ones in the area that do what they do.

Great.. I would not of known of the problem if Tech did not FULLY inspect entire system opposed to lip service and chanhe out the easy Parts and service!!!!

They came and put in a much better high speed pump that fits in the well and they put on a well hatch that's exposed now so that you can easily fix it. We had no water and they responded instantly. They came in and did the estimate and then the next day they came out with a crew with about 6 guys. They were digging up the well, one person was out there installing the well hatch and two people downstairs n our crawl space were there for the new pump situation and they were done that day because we were living without water. So their responsiveness was excellent, their people were extremely courteous and friendly and I think it was about $3800 to do all that.

Kevin and his crew are unbelievable.  We have had them do a few projects for us.   They are very responsive, innovative, clean, neat, knowledgeable.   The customer service sets a new standard in customer satisfaction.

Excellent service - before, during and after the sale.  They were prompt, took time to go over the system with me and answer questions.  A few months later, we experienced a fishy smell and Dunbar troubleshot the issue and found out that it was a bad filter and replaced it at no cost.  I'm very pleased with the product, but especially the service.

Prior to hiring Dunbar to work on our well water system, our new construction suffered from wildly fluctuating temperature (bursts of cold water while taking a shower.) The original plumber proved incapable of resolving the problem and two additional plumbers also were unable to discover the cause and/or arrive at a fix. Although the home was still covered by a one-year warranty, we decided that we would have to address the problem ourselves. After numerous observations, it was discovered that the burst of cold water was directly correllated with the well pump turning on. The municipality requires a sprinkler system and, in lieu of a tank, installed a higher capacity pump. Dunbar was recommended by Steve Beckwith of Beckwith Heating (provided review). They did experiments and informed us that (1) our water did NOT require any treatment; i.e., the analysis showed our well water was well within specs, but (2) they felt that they could reduce the iron and observed sediment (iron was at the high end of allowed range). Furthermore, they could not guarantee fixing the cold water burst problem, but were quite certain that adding a flow restrictor (demonstrated via manual shut-off valve that it should work) the bursts should be greatly reduced or even eliminated. They also had the option of exchanging flow reducer rates (first one worked great.) To handle the flow needed for the sprinkler system, they installed a pressure bypass valve. Bottom line, system works great - outstanding job.
