"Unfortunately I am not able to discuss your Mother’s account with you due to privacy issues. However, here is what it states on our contract (which all parties get a copy of). “The Terms of payment may be either in cash or by check and the execution of an acceptable time payment obligation. On the exercise of this option to purchase, if within the time and on the condition required, Optioner will credit a total of fifty percent (50%) of all rent previously paid to be applied towards the purchase price.” Many of our customers chose to continue renting on a monthly basis without every taking the option to purchase.
