carpet installation

Description of Work: Estimator was prompt, courteous and professional. Installation scheduled 3+ weeks out which was not ideal. Problem came with installer, a subcontractor. He came promptly but announced he would not complete install that day. Same carpet for 3 rooms on one floor so same day completion should not have been a problem given lead time. Floor had been prepped, rooms were empty. Had guests coming from Ca that evening. Called and spoke with estimator. He persuaded subcontractor to complete job. After he left, we noticed raised "loops" that appeared to be from a tool. Owner came out and "fixed" it. Charged 1/2 upfront.
