+ -1 moreWe bought our small non-descript ranch house in 2001. The first addition gave us the extra living space that we needed with an office for my husband, a studio for me and a full bath. The second addition gave us a dream kitchen, the garage we needed with an absolutely awesome family/sunroom above. Mark did all of this working only with plans that my husband and I drew up and some make-shift pizza box models that I constructed. Everyone who sees our home now cannot believe this is the same house we bought seven years ago. We love our "new" home and we loved working with Mark, who always kept his sense of humor even when I changed my mind about the tile on the kitchen floor when it was one-third done!
Description of Work: Mark Colby, the Maine Builder, has built two major additions to our home and each time exceeded our expectations in quality of work, professionalism, congeniality and creativity. In the first addition, he added a second story to our home and modified the existing first floor. In the second addition, he put in a new kitchen and added a two car garage with a family room above.
