BOWDEN CONSTRUCTION

Donn Bowden was the general contractor for this huge job. He did much of the work himself and hired/supervised local, amazing sub-contractors to do the necessary plumbing, masonry, and carpentry. This job was a challenge as the house had much deferred maintenance and the existing post and pier foundation was no longer supporting the house. We had severe drainage issues which caused mold and rot. Our lot was tiny making raising the house a real challenge. Donn gave us a very fair estimate for this huge project. He met all his deadlines and did not go over budget. He kept in touch with us and always answered our emails the following morning. He was always on site keeping an eye on things. Both Donn and his sub-contractors were friendly and professional. They were very neat with all aspects of the project and many times went out of their way to make things look nice. They were all quiet and respectful and I never had listen to loud music blaring. Now, the house feels stable and dry. Since completion we have had a huge rain storm and the water now flows away from our new foundation. Bowden Construction rocks!
