"I could not find the right wording for what they did. They laid a concrete slab for a garage. I can not say enough about the work and about this companyâ s values. Doing the work and the meticulous way they wanted to make sure it was done and done right. I took many pictures and posted on Facebook just to show how they worked threw everything. We will be hiring him next year for more jobs and we have plenty to do. They are very courteous and listens to your needs and points. They get right back to you when you call and donâ t make you wait and wonder. When we wanted it done they were right here. More than I can say about other companies. I canâ t say enough about this company. And will be recommending them to many friends and family. Thank you guys for a job WELL done. Eveé"

"Great! We were not sure that this technique was the right solution for our business so we needed to try cleaning a single mold first and test it before having the remaining molds cleaned. Andy was very accommodating in this process and made multiple trips to finish the job. He also worked with us to find the best media since surface finish was very important. We will absolutely us Aqua Terra Vapor Blasting again when needed."

"In summary I have to say Richard was  excellent!  He came when he said he would and finished the work when he said it would be finished.  As I solicited multiple bids for the work NE Renovations was among the most competitive.  As the work was completed I was so pleased I ended requesting he come back to do additional jobs.  He was very accomadating and even explained various options on how best to accomplish the additional work.

Concrete Finishing questions, answered by experts

Yes, cinder blocks must be primed before painting. Without primer, your paint won't stick to the surface of the blocks. You should use a bonding and filling primer which fills all of the small pores of your blocks. Once the primer dries, you'll have a smoother surface to work with and your paint will stick easily to the blocks.

Regular sealing and cleaning to maintain appearance and functionality.

Earth tones, such as brown, beige, and tan, are some of the most popular colors for stamped concrete. You can also use reds and grays to mimic the look of brick or stone. The right color for your project depends on your area and the look you’re going for.

Most garage floor paints are epoxy-based and available in DIY kits. One-part epoxies are simpler to apply than two-part epoxies, which have a more involved process. Sometimes, people also use latex-based paint because it’s easier to clean up mistakes with soap and water. Either way, make sure your paint is specifically designed for concrete garage floors. It should say so on the label.

Epoxy tends to be the most durable concrete finish, holding up on garage and shop floors for years. Epoxy seals the slab's surface, will run into any cracks and crevices, and can help to level the surface, so it tends to be a durable finish for most applications. The downside to epoxy is that it can be difficult to remove once applied.
