MORNINGSTAR MARBLE & GRANITE

We knew them by reputation. Other neighbors have used them and we have heard about them by reputation. They are very nearby to where we live and we wanted a company that would be local rather than using a box store that brings a vendor from out-of-state. I knew that if there would be any problems or issues with the installation or product, I could go right back to them and they'd take care of it. The price was slightly higher than we were quoted by the box store but I still felt that it was a good value for what I received. I was also able to chose exactly what I wanted from inventory which is another thing that you can only get from an actual provider of granite. It is like choosing countertops where the samples the you see is what you are going to get. You look at the actual flab of the granite. The quality of their work is also very good.

Everything about this vendor's operation was professional. Once we agreed to go with Morningstar, they were very responsive to all our requests and needs. Quick turn-around from template to installation. Same craftsman does the template and supervises the installation. If you intend to spend the money on granite, then you want this kind of expertise and professional attention. By-the-way, they can do a leather finish on any stone counter. Other venders could not offer this.

They were great. The young man who did the measurements, his name was Drew, was very pleasant as was the crew. It's not always the case when people come into your house. He came initially by himself and he took the measurements. My contractor was very wary of a young guy being able to do that with a computer and he also said he had never seen countertops as precise to the wall as the ones that they had installed. They were right up there and not against the wall. I had some questions afterwards about the care. I had a little scratch and I didn't know how to take care of it so they came back right away and showed me. They were very good in instructing me on how to care for the granite countertops. I was really pleased with them. They might not be the cheapest around but they were great. The installers were great and very efficient. It was done very quickly without a lot of drama. The work was outstanding and the work at the shop was outstanding. The installation was very well done. I appreciate the intelligence of the people who came to the house and that they could speak coherently to me. It was just overall a very good experience. The product was great. The follow up was great. The courtesy and the informative nature of the conversation we had were great as well. I am not really sure about the price. People have told me they were considered high. I didn't really price it out anyplace else. They came so highly recommended that I didn't search around. I think they are considered expensive but I think they are worth it. I think they did a great job. I definitely would use them in the future.

The staff at Morningstar are professional and very helpful in the selection of our new countertops. The pre-measurements and installation were amazing to watch. Our new countertops greatly exceeded our expectations! It was certainly worth the cost end up with a quality product.

They were so careful about the measurements, we went over to Morning Star and picked out the granite in person so we could see the entire slab as oppose to the little piece, the people were very nice and very attentive to our wishes.
