ANDROSCOGGIN ANIMAL HOSPITAL

I have a great Veterinarians named Dr. Spelke. He is a good listener very caring with the animals. He helped us with some behavioral problems we were having with one of my cats. He remembers your pets when he comes in the room. I am happy with the treatment and I will continue to use him in the future.

They get you in pretty fast, and while the first vet I met with misdiagnosed my cats, I have been happy with the vet I have been working with since.

The last visit was a satisfactory one but we have had so many that were completely unsatisfactory over the last two years. All too often, the diagnosis was incorrect and the treatment was not effective or it caused more harm. Since they have grown and changed ownership, they have developed more of a business-like attitude. Their prices are ridiculously high and they have made costly and fatal mistakes with our animals.

Dr. Susan Chadima was recommended to me when I moved 20 years ago. I went to her a couple of times, but left because it was far away. Eventually, I had to go back to her because she was so much better than anyone else. I've had to see other vets when she goes on her mission trips to teach Afghan herders basic veterinary medicine, so sometimes she's not available. She's pretty fantastic this year. Thank God she's not going back this year! All the vets in her practice are also excellent.

Androscoggin is a full service animal hospital. They can do x-rays and ultrasounds as well as regular office visits. I find their staff to be very caring and sweet as well.
