We had spent 9 months planning our retirement home based totally on false figures given to us by the Ward home agent. Apparently, he felt that he could "bully" us into the higher price once we had put so much time into it. Equally disturbing was the owner of Ward log homes who denied any responsibility. I did not feel if we ran into problems while building the home there was any assurance that he would make it right and stand by his product. Beware of this company!

Perfectly. Any construction project encounters problems, and we resolved them easily with Jerry's help. We would build again with him in a heartbeat.

The best possible experience building a home. Jerry is a good communicator, a superlative craftsman, and is that rarest of birds -- a builder with a real eye for both design and practicality. He understands what works and what doesn't in a very challenging climate -- Western Maine. Jerry effortlessly navigated all the regulations and permits needed to build waterfront homes here. Our high-end custom project (approx. 7,000 sf), which included many unusual design features, came in right on budget, and Jerry kept us regularly informed of costs throughout. This was the first time I had ever seen a builder do his own punch list, and complete it; Jerry is a real perfectionist, and his own toughest critic. His recommendations for subs (HVAC, masonry, tiling, plumbing, etc.), and his coordination of their work, were uniformly excellent. Our beautiful home is a testament to his experience and craftsmanship. Jerry has given us prompt follow-up and complete satisfaction with the few, small "teething problems" that we've experienced since moving in. We would definitely make sure we could work with Jerry again if we ever decided to undertake another construction project.
