Contractor did not show up when he said he would, repeatedly. When asked, he would not let us know if he could not make it, even though he know someone was planning to meet hem there. Contractor cut corners to save time and left things partially completed. Inferior or unspecified equipment was used which resulted in inefficient performance for several months. Several of the homeowners tools were missing at the end of the job. The contractor offered to pay for the lost items but there was no attempt to recover the originals. Communication was very difficult throughout the process, creating a strained and adversarial atmosphere. The final product appears to be adequate after replacement of unspecified parts. It is difficult to feel secure in this assessment however.
