Dan Ouellette, the business owner, arrived promptly at 1:00 as scheduled. He was clearly skilled and was able to quickly fix the problem, which was great. I also appreciated that he was warm, friendly, polite - in other words, he knows how to provide awesome customer service. Thanks Dan! And the price was very good too. I will definitely keep Hannan's number in my phone.

I purchased a new motion sensor light as they recommended to be installed next to the driveway. When the electrician arrived he said that he had a better motion sensor device for an additional $69 which I agreed to let him install. Despite numerous adjustments, the light does not come on when I drive my car past it and only comes on if you stand in one specific spot and wave your arms. Just recently it started to come about every 15 minutes as soon as it get dark despite that fact that there is no movement at all! I have not called them about it because I don't want to get billed for another service call.

"Hi [Member Name Removed]. Sorry to hear you are having issues with the motion light! Please let us know when you are having an issue so we can help address it for you! I can see from the notes that the fixtures is something you provided and we provided a sensor for it. There are a couple of things we can try, including adjusting or replacing the sensor. There is no charge to you for that, that would be covered under the warrantee. If it is an issue with the fixture, you can check with the place you purchased it from. Given how new it is I suspect they would be willing to provide a replacement under warrantee. Please, give us a call and let us know how you'd like us to proceed! - Hannan's Electric"

Two men showed up at agreed upon time. They were polite, personable and professional. They went about the work efficiently and completed the work ahead of schedule. The installation looms good and both fixtures work properly.

My experience was very good. It was done over a period of time as it was an ongoing project. He is excellent. He knows what he is doing. He discussed different options on what should be done and what could be done and how it could be done different ways. He gave options. It is good quality.

We had gotten a quote from another company many years ago and the quote was really high so we did not get these fixed. We found Hannan's Electric on Angie's List with glowing reviews. We asked them to give us a quote. Within a few days, someone came and gave us a quote of about $250. He explained everything they would be doing. He also explained what might cause the price to increase. These included things that are out of their control. Things they may not see until they get into the work. Totally understandable. Then a short time after that, we had the work completed. We are very happy with the quality of work. Not only that but the work was easier than they expected and the company charged us only $135 minus an Angie's List discount. This was an excellent experience. We would highly recommend.

In the end, I think they did a fine job of wiring our new shed. It was just the process that was less than professional.
Initial work was delayed a week which was not a big deal. However, when they left the first day they did not let us know when they would be back. After about a week I started calling. Three phone calls over a week were not returned. It took some emailing to get them back.
The shed job was finally completed but I cancelled the other projects originally scheduled due to lack of communication.
I'm not sure about the job quality or safety because I don't think a permit was obtained. I never saw a town inspector. They did not follow up with my questions about this. Obtaining a permit was part of the job estimate.
We did pay them only to get a bill in the mail after they already deposited our money.
I would happily have given them a higher rating if they had communicated with me. I choose them because of the high Angie's List rating. I hope my experience helps others make an informed choice.

I do see that the original schedule was delayed as you state and the records indicate it was a result of a reschedule with CMP. That is not something we had control over at the time but do understand that any delay is not ideal. We also did a review of our phone records to determine how your inquiries were missed. While we were unable to isolate the specific inquiries mentioned here, there was a cut-over to our new phone/voicemail system during that period which may be why certain messages or logs of those were not recorded. Regardless of the circumstance that is not an satisfactory answer for poor response and we appreciate that you reached out to us via email as we do see those messages were returned. As for the invoice it appears to be a matter of the timing of when the statements were run/mailed and when the payment was received. We apologize if the overlap there was an inconvenience it was certainly not intended. We do thank you for providing this feedback and for bringing your experience to our attention. In return we would like to offer to you two hours of free electrical service to be used towards any future project."
