Veterinarians
Salmon Falls Animal Hospital recently changed ownership, and things are looking up. The building is being repaired, the "artwork" is hilarious, and the staff is competent, close knit and very friendly.

This review specifically relates to Dr. Margaret Linnell and her staff. I do not know the other vet. Please review the sanctions at the Maine Board of Veterinary Medicine against Dr. Linell. At the time I brought my pets there, she was sanctioned for some conduct which I would rather you read about directly or ask the board about. I was with her for 10 years before this action. Rather than be apologetic and nice after this gross breach of professionalism, the staff were rude and obnoxious. I worry about other people going there given the events I went through. I strongly suggest you go to this site and read these two disciplinary actions, as well as note the reports: These are at the Maine Board of Registration in Veterinary Medicine. Rather than rely on my opinion on such a serious issue, I would rather give you the facts:

Animals can't tell you when they are in pain, which is what makes these TWO sanctions particularly outrageous. My cat was affected by this behavior.
