I am disapppointed with Wayne’s lack of professionalism and essentially punishing me as a customer for not accepting his bid which was higher than my existing propane supplier (Downeast Energy), who had also installed another unit on my property earlier. I now regret even giving him the opportunity to get additional business from me.

We had been working with Wayne on our HVAC system, since we purchased our home last year. Wayne came across as laid back, but professional. We were experiencing an issue that could not be diagnosed and had Wayne in a few times to attempt to identify the problem. Though Wayne could not figure it out, another local craftsman- our plumber- put his finger on it. Figuring the problem was complex, we continued working with Wayne, ultimately asking us to quote us on a replacement/install of a new furnace. After twice sending subcontractors into our home to gain some insight on the job, months later we received a number, without any justification on his quote. When we asked for some insight, Wayne provided a high level breakdown, which we used to perform due diligence on our side for product quality and price. The price he quoted us on the furnace was over 50% higher than the price of the product online. So we asked Wayne to provide a little more insight on his labor and materials estimate. At this point, Wayne simply responded "No". A follow up call revealed that he would not give us insight into the dimensions of our system, which he had measured by a subcontractor twice (he lost the first set of numbers), letting us know that he had it calculated correctly. He would not give us insight into his labor charges, citing the fact that we were the first customer in 30 years to suggest that they would like to know that information. Whereas Wayne does not come off to me as a bad person, in the least, he is certainly resting on his laurels as a technician and is unwilling to entertain customer inquiry into cost. Who doesn't want to know what they are being charged for?? I find that to be an alarming trait for a serviceman and DO NOT recommend that you hire Wayne to service your home.

About 4 years ago I was talked into switching to have the company that delivered my oil service my furnace. I was happy with Wayne but it was for convenience. I no longer are using them.
Well I had an urgent problem I was upset about and I called his office to see if he could come over. I am a senior citizen. He was here within 2 hours to address my concerns. I was no longer a customer of his. The charge was minimal.
It says a lot about his character that he would come right over on such short notice in the afternoon before a long Holiday weekend
Needless to say I will use him in the future and I will recommend him to my family and friends.

Great! Wayne Hall was the previous home owner's heating service company, and I had used them for routine service before, but after checking with two other companies, Wayne was competitive on the price, but more importantly, came up with some good energy ideas, and explained his propsed system quite well.
The job was completed in one day, they arrived on time at 8 am, and where finished by 530 pm. It was a 2 man crew mostly, with Wayne himself working on the install. Things seemed to go fairly smoothly through the day, and if there any problems, I was unaware of them. They were friendly and professional throughout the install, gave me a little training session on the new system, and cleaned up thoroughly. They cam back several days later just to make some tweaks to water temperature settings and fine tune the system. The energy saving extras to the system, although they cost a little more, and the high efficiency of the new system, have produced significant savings in the last 2 winters, as promised.
All in all, a great job, and I still use them for my annual cleaning, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.

We purchased an older home in April of 2011. There was an old oil tank in the basement that needed replacement and Mr Hall was recommended by a work acquaintance. We had a few estimates and we decided to go with this company (and happy we did so).
Wayne was on time and provided top notch service. The old tank was removed and he relocated the new tank to a more efficient location of the basement. No mess. No oil stains.
When we had our furnace serviced (by a different company) last week, they commented on the new tank and how great it looked - making mention of the quality equipment that was installed.
Good price. Great service. No nonsense.
