+ -1 moreThe installation went very well. The gutters were removed and trucked away. The roofing installation took about 4 days and looks great. The difficult part was in getting to a contract in the first place. The estimator, Jason, came to the property in the first week in July, and it was not until the first week in August that we received the estimate. E-mailing the estimate did not work because of file size(??) and Jason seemed unable or unwilling to use USPS. Granted, he was getting married during this period and perhaps was not focused. Only when he was on his honeymoon and we dealt with another employee, Bruce, did we receive the estimate and enter into a contract. The work was top quality but it seemed to us that the price was a bit high for a simple ranch house and was considerably more than other estimates we obtained. However, Glidden has a good reputation in the area and was a local company so we decided to contract with them.
Description of Work: Glidden installed metal roofing from Drexmet on a rental house we own in Scarborough. The metal roofing was placed over the existing shingle roof. The company also installed ice dams over the front door to prevent snow and ice from dropping onto persons entering or exiting the front door.
