Best furniture buying experience ever, by far. Ross Endicott seems to have reinvented the process.
He designs most of the furniture himself, and he is talented. Moreover, as suggested by the "condo furniture" label, his furniture is intentionally designed to be non-bulky, appropriate for smaller spaces, and easily transportable. For example, his couches don't have those enormous, hideous arms one sees everywhere else. Nevertheless, the sofas and chairs are very comfortable for people of all sizes.
Due to Ross's design philosophy, we think city dwellers should definitely consider the short trip to Maine to see his work. This is ideal city furniture?actually, it's ideal for anyone, but particularly so for those who don't have enormous spaces or dislike bulky furniture. We love his simple, elegant, highly functional designs. The long couch we bought is the most comfortable we've tried.
Ross contracts the manufacturing, but oversees it very carefully. As far as we can tell, this is similar to the quality of old fashioned furniture craftsmanship that would last for generations. No comparison to the cheap, essentially disposable pieces in the big stores. Considering the quality, and the impeccable design, the prices seem very reasonable. 
Ross spent a lot of time personally assisting us. He wanted to make sure that the pieces we chose not only look great, but also will work well on a practical level in the rooms they are meant for. He even helped choose fabrics resistant to destruction by cat (good thing, since they seem to love the furniture as much as we do). This is an invaluable service. You will not believe you are in a furniture store!
If anything, Ross errs on the side of underselling rather than overselling?for example, he advised us to buy a few pieces first and live with them before considering additional purchases.
Since Ross both designs and arranges manufacturing of his pieces, he can customize almost anything, not just fabrics but also size, seat depth, and much more.
We can't say enough good things about Endicott Home. Ross makes what is normally expected to be a nightmare a pleasure. You feel good doing business with him. And we have no doubt that he will stand behind everything he makes and sells 100%.
