Mr. Herbert helped us remodel portions of a 1923 Victorian house. Mr. Herbert did most of the demolition work himself. He coordinated the trades - drywall, plumbers, electricians - in a most expeditious manner. Each tradesman Mr. Herbert provided was a top-notch professional and expert in his particular trade. In the bathroom, Mr. Herbert performed all the carpentry, laid the tile, and added touches which surprised and pleased us. In the library-den, he built floor-to-ceiling shelves and laid the floating floor. Mr. Herbert worked very closely with us in executing our design. When product we requested turned out to be too expensive, he found suitable replacements to achieve our vision. He was open to suggestions and communicated throughout the process. He understood our vision and achieved it efficiently. His estimates of dollar amounts and time for performance were accurate. Mr. Herbert kept us involved as the work progressed so our ideas were incorporated into the projects as they evolved.
Description of Work: Remodeled bathroom and created a library-den.
