Good, found a crack in one flue.

They made an appointment, they came over, they came into the house and opened up the flute and they said they couldn't clean the chimneys today, because they needed tarps and vacuums, the chimneys were really bad. They asked if we hadn't done it in a long time, then they came back on another day to clean it. It was super convenient, the apartment building was empty, so they didn't mess up anything. I left themthe key, and they threw it back in the house when they left, and it was like they were never there. They had said that they think it was lined, and they called back to say that it was unbelievable, but it was lined and we could use it. I was so excited, and they said that it was an old house, so we should just have a small controlled fire. It was important to our tenant because they moved in from a huge house. I was very happy with A-Top. They didn't charge me in advance, because they said they didn't know how long it would take and if they would find dead animals. I trusted them, and it was great.

They were great when I called them on the phone to make an appointment. They arrived when they said they would and performed the services that I asked for. I would recommend them again for any chimney work.

Positive experience overall. Phone calls were returned, workers arrived on-time, helpful reminder phone calls about upcoming service were made. They made me aware of a possible other issue, but didn't try to scare me into fixing it immediately, which was nice. Will use this provider again.

Two gentlemen showed up. They brought in the equipment and warned me that I might want to hang out upstairs with my two year old while they did the job. They wore masks themselves, just a nice presence of mind when it comes to safety. In total it only took about an hour. If there was anything I wish they had done it would be vacuum out my fire box as well. I asked for burning advice and they said the particles were small and the amount was reasonable so I wasn't doing anything wrong with the wood stove at least.

The service guy was punctual, professional and knowledgeable...above all, he was honest, straightforward and fair. I recommend their services.

Very prompt, very helpful with explanations and suggestions, very efficient, professional, personable.

We heat with wood so we have A-Top clean the chimney every year. Punctual, polite and neat as a pin for a job that's notoriously messy. I've also had them do chimney work including removal, rebuilding and capping. They were MUCH more affordable than the other contractor and extremely good.

The crew arrived early within the two hour block stated when the appointment was made. First impression was very favorable - truck was clean, equipment in good order and and quot;state of the artand quot;, procedures were orderly and efficient, crew was articulate and professional, and recommendations to improve efficiency and safety were offered. The job was completed in 20 minutes and the area in which they worked was cleaner than they found it. A thoroughly pleasant experience.

They arrived when they were supposed to, were thoroughly clean and professional. They did the sweep and inspection (was OK) and didn't try to sell me any extras. Just a good solid job all around.

Bill was prompt, responsive to my phone calls, coordinated with my boiler install company, and very up-front and professional. Solid guy, good team (his son works with him too). I'd definitely call him again for any chimney trouble.

They came to the property first, conducted a thorough examination insiude and out, then explained my options. They gave me an estimate, and promised to return as soon as possible. (Because it had been raining for days, the work could not be done until the area had dried out.) Soon thereafter they called, came promptly did the work, and submitted a bill within teh estimate supplied.

A-Top Chimney was excellent to deal with. I called due to have my chimney swept. They set up my appointment promptly. The guys that came out were professional, clean and polite. They were very informative and inspected every flue in my house while they were here, free of charge. I was only charged for the flue that they swept. The last time I had a chimney sweep out I was charged for sweeping all flues even though I hardly used them! I would highly recommend A-Top Chimney! they will be the company I call every year from now on.
