Very professional, on time , responsive to questions

They were very detailed, thorough, and responsive in their survey of the work and the quote they provided to us. They came when they said they would and did a large amount of work over a 3 day period covering 1000+ sf in our home renovation with closed-cell and HD Cellulose products. The team was very knowledgeable and considerate with regard to observations while on the job, and making changes/decisions for the best approach to the work. We stayed in communications and they performed extremely well to the commitments they made. I hired Heat Mizer to conduct an energy assessment audit. Efficiency Maine explained that an audit normally includes a blower door test and a thermal camera test. They did not bring the thermal camera with them and when we questioned why they did not have the camera, we were informed it was too hot to bring the camera in the vehicle they had. We had specific questions about certain walls that required the use of a thermal camera to get an accurate assessment. When asked if they would come back with the camera we were told they would when they came back to do some insulation work. The final report we received included pictures of an attic access that was taken with a thermal camera, which of course did not happen because no camera was used. During the assessment. I am sorry to say this, but I do not feel we received an adequate energy audit assessment based on the guidelines posted on the Efficiency Maine website.

Heatmizer conducted an energy audit and then replaced all interior ceiling lights with energy-efficient led flood lights, prayed foam the interior cellar walls and added more insulation in the attic. The team was very neat, punctual, and very good at their craft.

Heatmizer (Bob Frechette) did an energy audit on our 1970 mobile home we were about to remodel. We followed his recommendations and had them spray foam and insulate after we gutted it. He installed a Mitsubishi Heat Pump that heats, cools and dehumidifies our cozy, home. The energy audit helped us attain an efficient, healthy home! We highly recommend using Heatmizer to make your home as efficient aand healthy as it can be.

I retired this summer and purchased a 3 season camp without insulation or an adequate heating source. I planned to live in the camp year round starting this year. You can imagine my apprehension knowing that I only had a short period of time to get the camp ready for year round occupancy. Having gone thru the usual search, contact, estimate, dismissal process of several contractors I was elated to find Bob Frechette. Everyone in his company (HeatMizer) is honest, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Bob personally completed or oversaw the entire insulation project -from energy audit to completion of rebate forms. Bob even recommended an excellent contractor to install my heat pump (Affordable Comfort). I usually don't write reviews but the professional service provided by HeatMizer needed to be recognized.
