We called them to come and advise us as to what the problem could be.  We called them a few timesand left messages on their answering machine.  They never called us back so we went down to the shop.  The store was always closed.  After about 4 trips to the store it was open, but the repair person was not there so we left a message with the secretary.  Again no phone call.  Finally we got his cell number and called that and left a message.  Again no call.  We could not get any answer so we had to go elsewhere.
DO NOT USE THEM.

Our refrigerator was getting warm and the freezer started following suit. This had happened a few times in the past and I would fix it by unplugging the unit for a day or 2 (and throwing out all food !!). Got tired of wasting all that food so I called Appliance Pro. They're in Waterboro and I'm next door in Lyman so even though he wasn't rated yet, I figured that if he was on Angie's List and wanted a good rating, he would probably do a good job. It took a while to actually get him here... Parts were damaged in shipping and some other scheduling conflicts but eventually he was able to make it. Joe was a really nice guy and it was obvious that he had a good deal of experience and knew what we was doing. He explained the service history of our particular model, replaced the 2 parts that control the defrosting of the coils, showed me the old parts and explained why they weren't doing the job any more. He has a good sense of humor and and we chatted while he worked. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. He will actually be coming back again as 2 of the support posts that hold one of the trays in place broke a long time ago and super glue only succeeded in gluing my fingers together. He also told us the history of THAT problem and even had one of those parts in stock (but we needed 2 of them). As I understand it, Joe also has a storefront in Waterboro where he sells refurbished appliances so I told him that with the cost of new appliances these days, I will check with him before I buy anything new again !! I am adding Appliance Pro to my cell phone !! (quite an honor !!).
Long story short, Joe did an excellent job, was reasonably priced, and I would absolutely use him again.
