DON GOLOJUCH PLUMBING

Not unlike most of the tradesmen I have encountered in southern Maine. This plumber made an appointment and did not show or call to cancel. Poor profession attitude.

I got him from Angie's List.  He's very punctual and very good at communicating if he was going to be late.  We've used him for a couple of jobs in the past and so he's always been pretty reasonable about that.  He's helped to correct some previous mistakes other plumbers have made at our house.  He was very efficient and he didn't waste a lot of time.  He got in pretty much right when he said he was going to be there and started working right away.  He answered questions if we had and wasn't excessively chatty. He just overall was pretty easy to deal with.

I saw that Don had numerous reports on Angie's List and they all were scored with A's so I felt comfortable giving him a call.  Within a couple of days of calling him he met me at the property and gave me a verbal estimate.  He said the work would take about 2 hours which seemed very reasonable to me. Early the following week he completed the job on 5/3/11 and I was quite happy with his work.  I will definitely call him again for future projects.

Don arrives and immediately set to work. He was very efficient but took time to explain the work after completion.

I called. Don called back. He was here within a day or two. No mess. Clean and quick. The toilet works great, the pipes were refitted or whatever they call it so the sink now works, and I am very happy.

He called me and told me he had been hired by the manufacture to replace my boiler, and asked if he could come over to meet me and set up a time. He said he had done many of these specific boilers before. He did a good job. The new boiler has been working for five years. I didn't spend anything, but the estimate was for $3,000. The boiler itself was $1,400.

We called at 8 PM with in need of an urgent shower repair (we had already isolated the leak). He got back to us quickly, arrived the next day to look at the problem, obtained the parts he needed and fixed the shower (actually 2 of them) less than 48 hours after our initial call. We were impressed. He might cost a little more per hour (75$) than some companies, but his work is stellar. We will use him again.

Don does a great job. He always comes within a day of my call (he'd come right away if it was emergency I am quite sure). He is reliable and trustworthy, and does a high quality job. It's always done right, and he is very professional and explains any work he has done. His rates are fair. He always suggests options if there are choices in how the work could be done.

Best plumber ever. One call truly does it all with this guy. I've used him several times over the last couple years and I never have to worry.
