They are good.  It was big job.  First of all they were in there at the same time that there were carpenters, plumbers and the shower tile fellow.  They regularly repaired the mistakes and wall damage made by the other contractors without being asked to do so and they were very accommodating.  They were also fussy about their own work which is highly appreciated.  We actually purchased the home and were there ourselves, tearing out bathroom stalls and things like that, since we have a handicapped family member who was going to be there with us.  The fellow’s name is Lynwood Ronan and he is a second generation painter who still paints and I guess you would say in the old way being very careful with regard to the quality of his prop work, the quality of the paint that he chooses, and who ever had painted the house from whom we had bought it was very sloppy, he was not.  He is meticulous in his detail and he wallpapered a bathroom for us as well.  So in terms of sheet rock, dry wall, painting, wall papering he is extremely gifted as a crafts man.

We recently purchased a 1975 custom log home in Scarborough, Maine. Linwood Ronan and his son painted the whole interior of the home, which had some very high cathedral ceilings, including working around carpenters, plumbers and the shower tile guy. Linwood regularly repaired mistakes and wall damage, which the carpenters and plumbers made to the walls, without being asked to do so and was very accommodating. He was also fussy about his own work, which we appreciated.

As we had lots of renovation work to do, and he is very fast, we also had him sheet rock the walls of one room and he did excellent work on that, too.

Linwood wall papered one bathroom, being careful to match the print on each side, while working around some pretty tight spaces. Of all the renovations we completed, Linwood Ronan's painting made the biggest difference in the appearance of our home.

The previous owner had rented the home out for the past few years and it had some definite wear and some odor, too. Linwood was able to make all traces of wear disappear and left it looking fresh and new, which made us feel comfortable when we moved our items into the home.

He was reasonably priced, affable, insists on using quality paint and doing the job the right way.

The homeowner must coordinate their job with him ahead of time to get into his busy schedule. But once he's there he's fast and his work is excellent quality.

Linwood’s company works in Western Maine and the Scarborough/Southern Maine area. He does industrial as well as residential painting.
