ISLAND VIEW INN

Up until this experience, I always had good experiences at this hotel. However, the minute they found out I was a bride and had referred them wedding guests, I was treated extremely rudely. Upon check in the night before my wedding, I was handed a policy across the table which was addressed to wedding guests only. This policy was delivered with a threat from the woman at the front desk that the police would be called if any problems arose. The following day, my wedding day, my husband and I entered the room with me and my brides maid who was retrieving some belongings from the room. Not five minutes after entering the room, we received a courtesy phone call from the front desk with demands that non-paying guests remove their cars from the property. Their official policy did not even begin until about thirty minutes later. When my husband went with my brides maid to move cars, the owner of the hotel was yelling at people making threats to call police. I have sent this inn thousands of dollars in business over the years and cannot believe how rudely treated I was during one of the most important weekends of my life.
